OLDHAM'S Darren Sheridan goes back to old club Barnsley for tonight's Roses battle insisting: "We'll be looking to put one over them."

The gritty midfielder, who spent six years at Oakwell, added: "They will certainly know they have been in a game.

"I had some great times there and we had a very good side which got into the Premiership.

"I always enjoy going back and their fans never give me much stick.

"They know I give 100 per cent and appreciate that in a player."

Sheridan is free of a three-match ban and the only addition to the squad on duty in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Bristol City.

Boss Iain Dowie said: "It would be good to start where we left off , with the opposition under siege.

"Despite going well, Barnsley got a beating on Saturday and we will have to beware the wounded beast."
