The Latics had taken the lead after just 53 seconds when John Eyre finished off a neat three man move.
But Blackpool hit back with three second half efforts.
The first was an absolute stunner when Neil Danns hit the roof of the net with a screamer from 40 yards out 10 minutes after the break.
Number two came in the 69th minute when Jonathon Douglas had time to pick his spot.
Number three arrived minutes from the end when the dangerous Scott Taylor bagged his fifth goal in three games.
Oldham, to their credit, kept going right to the end and were rewarded when Frenchman Mickael Antoine-Curier grabbed his third goal in as many games.
