PROMOTION-chasers Oldham go to relegation battlers Cheltenham and boss Iain Dowie expects his side to come under attack.

He explained: "They are fighting for their lives and they need to come out at us, but I am happy with that."

The Latics have yet to beat Cheltenham in three league and cup meetings but an upbeat Dowie insisted: "There is always a first time and we will be going there in positive spirits."

Keeper Les Pogliacomi, who has kept a record-breaking 18 clean sheets this season, will take a late fitness test on a back injury which kept him out of the last game.

Dowie will also make a late decision on whether to throw strongman defender Clint Hill back into the action.
