TEENAGER Chris Hall is giving new Oldham boss John Sheridan plenty of food for thought.

The 19-year-old striker has hit five goals in two pre-season friendlies - including a superb hat-trick - and has forced his way into the first-team frame.

Sheridan, who is still looking to bring in at least one striker, said: "Anyone who scores goals will get a chance with me. You can't argue with his record."

Tameside-based Hall will get another chance tomorrow when the Latics travel to Shrewsbury Town.

BURY'S game at Peterborough on September 2 has been pushed back 24 hours to avoid a clash with England's Euro 2008 qualifier against Andorra at Old Trafford.
