Yeovil Town 0 Oldham Athletic 2

PAUL Warne's brace gave Athletic only their second league win in 14 matches and saw them leapfrog their hosts in the League One table in the process.

The wing-back struck in each half to hand three points to Ronnie Moore's Latics side as they also kept their first clean sheet in five games.

With Will Haining and Guy Branston back in the starting XI as widely anticipated, the visitors took a 39th minute lead as Warne sidefooted home Andy Liddell's cross after Haining set Liddell clear down the right-hand side.

Warne then saw a deflected shot saved 17 minutes into the second half, five minutes before Terry Skiverton spurned the Glovers' best chance, screwing a shot wide when unmarked.

He was made to pay with eight minutes remaining as Warne drilled home his second, again from a Liddell cross.

Although Paul Edwards was sent off for a second yellow card with three minutes remaining, Athletic hung on to remain hopeful of a play-off push.
