OLDHAM Athletic turned on the style to cruise to a 7-0 romp over the hosts in the Isle of Man Festival at the Bowl in Douglas.

Delroy Facey's 13th minute tap-in, after Island keeper Mark Blair palmed away new boy Chris Porter's close range header, set the tone for a one-sided afternoon.

Boss Ronnie Moore said: "It was a good workout. Basically, it was about getting 90 minutes under our belt. It's always nice to win and a confidence booster to score lots of goals.

"In fact, we could have scored more."
