Preview: MK Dons v Oldham Athletic

RELEGATION battlers Oldham will take a giant step towards safety tomorrow if they win at fellow strugglers MK Dons.

They are on course to beat the drop after taking seven points from the last nine and boss Ronnie Moore is looking for the Latics to make it three wins on the trot for only the second time this season.

Moore warned: "It is going to be tough, there is no doubt about that.

"Make no mistake, we still have a considerable amount work to to do with some very hard games still to come.

"But we have shown what we can do and are moving in the rigjht direction. The work ethic is there, we are playing well as a team and always look dangerous at set-pieces.

"A lot of work has gone into that on the training pitch and it is beginning to pay off."

Defender Will Haining is out with hamstring damage but Guy Branston is available after a four-match ban.

New boy Delroy Facey is also free to play after his deadline day signing but the 24-year-old striker will find it difficult to get in the side ahead of in-form duo Chris Killen and Luke Beckett.

Moore has rubbished claims that he has agreed a new, two-year contract to stay at Boundary Park.

The manager insisted: "I am under contract until the end of the season. Nobody has said anything else, whether it is going to be longer or shorter."

LAST SEASON: Different divisions

KEY OPPONENT: Wade Small - the mainstay of the side

PREDICTION: MK Dons 1 Oldham 3

I dont think Ronnie Moore is going for the win tomorrow. He will be happy with a draw and to be honest a win would surprise me!

Any points will be a result as, they are playing very well, but so are we! The change in performance and attitude has been fantastic since Ronnie Moore took the helm. Lets get him signed up as soon as possible before somebody snaps him up. Come on blues!
