Oldham are hoping the first leg of their Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Northern Area final at Chesterfield will go ahead tonight (7.45pm).

The clash was postponed yesterday because of a frozen pitch at the B2net Stadium after an inspection.

Fans unable to attend tonight’s rearranged game are entitled to a full refund on their tickets.

Meanwhile, striker Reuben Reid is hoping to continue his recovery today as he has been named in the reserve side to play Macclesfield in the Central League.

Reid has been out of action for three months with a torn thigh muscle. Tweet
