Blackpool 2 Oldham Athletic 0

OLDHAM'S miserable league run is in real danger of sucking them back into a relegation dogfight.

It was a miserable night at the seaside as Blackpool left Brian Talbot's scratch side struggling from the start.

The Latics have now won only one of their last six games leaving them with just five points from a possible 18.

Keeper Les Pogliacomi came to the rescue as early as the eighth minute when he tipped a screaming shot from Keigan Parker over the bar.

But he had no chance when Blackpool punished some sloppy defending to go in front in the 71st minute.

The Latics failed to clear a Paul Edwards corner and Peter Clarke was left with time and space to shoot home from six yards.

And it was game, set and match when substitute Edwards grabbed the second on 86 minutes.

Oldham's problem was glaringly obvious - they didn't even test the home side keeper.

After this latest rubbish, we have to start worrying about if Mr Talbot was seriously injured in the attack by the Iraqi's on the way to the Bolton match.
He claims too many youngsters looking tired and so on, we gave away Beherall, Johnson and a few others, have Tierney out on loan, have four loanees, then bring in Bonner ( Two Year Contract - Talbot deal) Appleby, Eyre and Boshell into the match at Bloomfield Road and claim to have too many youngsters.....we hardly created more than two chances the whole match, Blackpool in fact being just slightly better crap than the total crap ended up with 3 points that Mr Talbot said we had to get !...
Are we at the same Football Club ????
Time for a clear out lads !... and that would make sense if Mr Corney had a look at some of the backroom executives at the same time.
