Preview: Oldham Athletic v Hartlepool

OLDHAM give a debut to Kevin Betsy as they chase a fourth straight home win when Hartlepool visit Boundary Park tomorrow.

The 26-year-old former Barnsley winger has just spent a month on loan with them and they wanted to sign him!

The Latics are unbeaten in their last three league and cup games and are one of only two sides in the country whose goal tally at home is in double figures.

But skipper Dean Holden warned: "It will be a tough one. Hartlepool surprised everybody last season, and probably themselves, when they made it to the play-offs.

"They are going well and again showing they are a solid side.

"They work hard for each other and everyone knows their job. But we are proving hard to beat after a poor start and if we can build on our little run, we will quickly climb the table."

Strikers Jermaine Johnson and Rodney Jack have returned from international duty and Kiwi Chris Killen, who was rested for the last game, returns to the squad.

Blackpool have signed last season's top scorer at Oldham Athletic, 20 year old Scott Vernon, on loan.

Verson is out of favour under new manager Brian Talbot.

LAST SEASON: Oldham 0 Hartlepool 2.

KEY OPPONENT: Adam Boyd - the hot shot has made a sizzling start to the season with four goals so far.

PREDICTION: Oldham 3 Hartlepool 1
