OLDHAM face a tough start to the 2004/05 season after they were handed a trip to Luton on the opening day.

Having flirted with relegation last season, the Latics will be keen to get off to a good start and after the Luton clash on August 7 they face home matches with Wrexham and Walsall.

August 21 sees them travel to Hull, a week before they clash with the team formerly known as Wimbledon, the Milton Keynes Dons.

Oldham's first derby of the season comes on September 30 when they travel to Stockport, the return being on February 19.

The Latics were the draw specialists last season, but this time around they will look for a strong finish with three of their last five matches at home against Sheff Wed, Torquay United and relegated Bradford City.
