Somewhere down the line someone at F.A. Headquarters should have begun to notice the number of matches being called off at Edgeley Park, due mainly to the fact that it is now a Rugby pitch and no matter what is claimed, you can't play football and rugby on the same surface.
Quite clearly that damage has been done some months back and unless the situation is resolved I can see Stockport being ordered to play their home matches on a neutral ground.
What a shame that this good old club is being run into the ground and Rugby being given top priority throughout....

surely in the 21st century, a way of fully keeping rain off a pitch must be available...
these postponements, both away and at Boundary Park are wrecking their chances of pulling away from the drop zone.
