OLDHAM Athletic have signed former England striker Michael Ricketts.
The 28-year-old, who enjoyed spells in the Premiership with Bolton and Middlesbrough, becomes the Latics' seventh summer signing.
Ricketts signed on a free transfer having been released by Preston at the end of last season, and has agreed a deal until 2010.

I agree with Stuart Mason. Shanny obviously knows nothing about Oldham - is he a royal blue and watches the matches every week, or is he a sky blue who wishes City could his the net like Sheridan's team?
