OLDHAM have made a move for Hellas Verona striker Craig Davies as boss John Sheridan steps up his summer transfer activity.
The 21-year-old, who was on loan at Wolves last season, has three Wales caps to his name.
Sheridan has made a cash offer for the player, who began his career with Oxford before making an £85,000 switch to the Serie B side, report Oldham's official website.
However, Latics have had their hopes of luring Patrik Berger to Boundary Park dashed after talks with Aston Villa broke down.
