The Reds were pushed for the first time this term as the home side caused them problems with their slick passing at Moss Lane.
Steve Smith, making his first start of the season, scored a speculative effort with only seven minutes on the clock.
The 1,643 crowd were expecting an avalanche of goals but dogged defending from Trafford, led by ex-FC centre half Billy McCartney, kept them at bay.
FC play Abbey Hey at Gigg Lane on Wednesday.

For a suposed non entity of a football club in your eyes you seem to have a bit of an obsession. You obvioulsy see FC as a credible threat to whatever you are.

The Glazers have no interest in football, they are just using Manchester United fans to make money and that is why some people are staying away from Old Trafford, not to metion those who have been priced out.
FC United have only a very small number of paid employees (who are football fans) and who could probably get better paid jobs elsewhere if they wanted to.

Can you tell me how being in debt by 600million and interest payments of 35 40 mill a season make the debt manageable when Man Utd have never made any more than 26 million in profit, now I am no einstein but where is the extra money needed coming from to service the interest payments. I dont expect a reply

The debt argument is so blah. If a bank builds a new 50 story building, do they pay for it in cash or finance it? I know 600 million seems like a lot to average blokes like you and I, but in the long term to a Corporation (And Red Football is a corporation) the monthly payments ARE managable and are being paid. So if after all of it, you want to go to FC, fine, do it. Have a good sing song. But don't look back and try to glory hound the PL title this year.

The modern football club is just a business run by accountants. The likes of Tommy Tampa et al might be happy to pay overinflated ticket prices buy a season ticket but never know when matches are to be played run by owners who in reality are only interested in lining their own pockets but i am not.
If the pioneers at FC and i use that term likely prevent other clubs from exploiting their fans it will go down as an important milestone.
¿¿21 for an adult and ¿¿11 for a 5 year old to watch a championship game is ludicrous and now the chairman are seeing the gates reducing are they finally catching on that football belongs to the community where they belong.
The trouble at the moment is that there are to many people ready to smear genuine people. FC have to be seen to whiter than white and if they are i am sure they will be around in the years to come
