Decisions about which parts of the ground will be in use for our fans haven't yet been made. We hope we'll be able to communicate that information before the date, but if not it will be made clear on the night. Besides the game a seminar is being organised with the title "United supporters - Power and possibilities". The aim is to highlight and discuss various forms of fan power - on the lighter, in boardrooms and in society. Frosty the bitterman how can it be a publicity stunt when there is virtually a press and media blackout of FC United?
The MEN is the only place where we get a regular mention and even there I don`t think we will ever make the back page again regardless of what we acheive. The "suits" at bigger clubs are able to use their power to manipulate their position to ensure this to a certain extent becuase they don`t like people to see the comparisons of how the fans are treated.

Stad, not worth the effort responding to Frosty Snowboard or whatever his name is. He's another WUM. The total is 35k now in less than a few days. By August i reckon we'll have sold 1,200 ST's or thereabouts. Probably a few more than last year. We'll do alright.

Its got publicity all over the place. Its been in quite a few nationals, including the telegraph, guardian and mail - there are links to these papers articles on the web. All contins aticles on it, not just a one-liner. If thats a press and media blackout I'd like to know what publicity is.

How much publicity does a non-league club with sales of 330 or less season tickets require? I think the thrice weekly articles by Mr. Brennan should suffice. If they really only have 330 season ticket holders, why not move to a park in Manchester for next season and load up a small truck with 300 metal folding chairs?? The grandiloquence of some of the supporters of this club are comical at a new level past rolling on the floor laughing.

Two weeks in and we're already one third of the way to our target with a current total of £43,000! With 3 months to go before the season starts this is already another fantastic result.

Three weeks and we're up to £49,000 with two and a half months to go before the season starts.

Nearing four weeks and it's £57,000.

Just over four weeks and we're over half way with £68,000.

£76.500 to date and we're not even been selling season tickets five weeks yet. With ten weeks to go before the season starts we're well on trak. Viva la revolution, come on FC.

Into week five and we're up to £82,000

It's friday of the fifth week and we're up to £85,000.

Now upto £90,000 - it won't last 'til Christmas ay Alan?

We've broke the 1000 season tickets sales we set each year and with two and a half weeks to go our £125k target is up to £119k.

We have already passed the 1000 season ticket target with 1047 tickets sold and £121,000 raised towards our £125,000 target. With 5 days to go before the season starts when more Fc fans will but season tickets on the day making our target is looking like a dead-cert! Viva la revolution, come on FC
