Greggs bakers, who employ 250 at their Clayton plant, are set to renew their five-figure shirt sponsorship deal. The company is delighted with the exposure after non-League Curzon knocked out Exeter and the blue shirts, modelled here by team manager Gary Lowe's step-daughter Zoey, began to sell like hot pies!
Zoey, a 21-year-old teacher, has proved a hit as the club pin-up.
"My class are only five-year-olds but some of the older pupils are Curzon fans and ask me about the team and some of them even think I am famous," she said.
"Like my mum Anna, I am a big Curzon fan as well as supporting Italy, where our family comes from, and United."
