CURZON marked their first appearance in the first round of the FA Cup with a giant-killing of League Two side Exeter.
The UniBond Division One North side survived a late Grecians fightback to go into the hat for the second round on Monday, after stunning their full-time visitors with three goals.
Gary Lowe's side were magnificent as Chris Worsley put them in front on 26 minutes.
And the fans at the Tameside Stadium could not believe it as Gambian international James Ogoo made it 2-0 on 55 minutes.
When top scorer Michael Norton sent the home side into orbit by making it 3-0 with ten minutes to go, the supporters could be forgiven for celebrating.
But Exeter fought back as striker Steve Basham pulled one back on 83 minutes and there were a few nervy moments after Dean Moxey made it 3-2 in the final minute of normal time.
