Graham Heathcote's Blue Square Conference side have reeled off five wins and a draw in their last six games, while Wrexham underlined their standing as one of the biggest names in non-League by persuading former Liverpool and Wales striker Saunders to take over from Brian Little earlier this season.
The Dragons are 10th in the table just one place behind Altrincham.
Wrexham are only entering the competition at this stage and are likely to take another big following to Moss Lane after the Bank Holiday 1-1 draw between the sides attracted a bumper 2,600 crowd.
