Patterson back to haunt Rebels

RORY Patterson returned to haunt FC United as he struck twice to send them crashing to a 2-0 UniBond Premier defeat at Bradford Park Avenue.

The former FC fans' idol gave the Tykes a 16th minute lead when he beat keeper Sam Ashton with a piledriver from outside the box.

Patterson added his and Bradford's second just before the hour.

A spectacular 84th minute equaliser from Neil Prince gave Droylsden a 1-1 draw with Workington.

Another bitter whinging again how come you aren't out celebrating like the rest of the Berties? Oops, near forgot, I don't suppose you can joint the party on the wrong side of the planet.

Fair play to Patterson he played a blinder has a young family as well so I can understand how a few extra hundred a month comes in it's not like he's on Ronaldo type wages.
