Karl Marginson's side will see their championship credentials pushed to the limit when they play seven games in just 15 days between March and April.
The cancellation of Wednesday's trip to Ossett Albion because of a waterlogged pitch has heaped more pressure on an already hectic schedule between now and the end of the season for the Rebels.
The Ossett clash has now been put back to April 3, in between fixtures with Lancaster City, Skelmersdale United, Wakefield, Bradford Park Avenue, Harrogate Railway and Lancaster City again between March 29 and April 12.
Should United win their games in hand on Unibond First Division North leaders Skelmersdale they would move to the top of the table.
But Marginson knows the fixture pile-up could be the biggest test for his side.
He said: "The teams above us will be looking over their shoulders and I'm sure points will be dropped and gained in the next six weeks."
Marginson is at least grateful he has a virtually fully fit squad ahead of tomorrow's home clash with Newcastle Blue Star.
FC United will be supporting KitAid during tomorrow's match, when they will be asking fans to donate unwanted football kits at collection points around Gigg Lane.
Andy Walsh, General Manager at FC United said: "We are delighted to be supporting KitAid once again."

Directions from M60. Leave the M60 at junction 17, then at the roundabout take the exit onto the A56 (signposted Bury, Whitefield, Radcliffe) Stay in the right/middle lane and follow the road for about a mile through Whitefield. Go straight over at the lights at the end of the bus lane, you will see Whitefield Metrolink stop on the right hand side. After about 100 yards (just past the Bulls Head) turn left onto Radcliffe New Road. On Radcliffe New Road continue forward over the mini roundabout and straight over at the lights (about half a mile). Go straight over at the junction for Asda (which is on the left) and follow the road through 2 more sets of lights. Once through the second set of lights you will see PR World travel on the right. Make a right after PR World travel and immediately before the Last Orders Inn into Hampson Street . The Shirt Club is on the right up a flight of stairs.

Nobody else can get any comments on and I want to know why?.
No wonder people are giving up reading these blogs, they cant get on because of the MUEN thought police!
Saying that, its doing my insomnia the world of good when reading the "war and peace" ramblings during this current war of the superfans (or "only fans" if truth be known).
