The Rebels were to join England in marking the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster at the Gigg Lane clash with Woodley Sports.
FC's unbeaten run in the league, which stretches back to November 27, has kept them firmly in the promotion picture.
They currently lie just outside the play-off places in sixth, but would move to within a point of current top two Skelmersdale and Curzon Ashton were they to win their three games in hand.

Quite apart from the legality or otherwise of this man's actions, I for one was devastated that I was unable to gather with fellow fans and pay my respects on the 50th. anniversary of Munich. That someone can take this kind of action without any thought for the fans and their feelings at such an emotional time just beggars belief. I am sure that all F.C. fans will stand squarely behind the club in condemning this disgraceful state of affairs. Let us hope that should what we have been told prove to be correct then the strongest possible action will be taken.

The disappointment I felt when I heard that FC's game had been cancelled on the order of a Bury FC director was massive! I am certain that we would have had our biggest crowd of the season, there, like me, to sing for 90 minutes after showing our respect to the Babes for a full one minute of silence!!
I'll be at Nantwich on Friday night & hope we have a good turnout to show the directors of Bury FC what they are missing.
