The Rebels, after two successive promotions, take on Yorkshire side Garforth Town in their first home fixture at the higher level, at Gigg Lane on Wednesday August 22.
The re-structured first division means that FC will play eight clubs in the 18-team competition three times.
It means Clitheroe, Skelmersdale, Bamber Bridge and Radcliffe Borough will cash in with two home games against the Rebels.

Jimmy Davis, a very talented young footballer from Redditch, died in August 2003 at the age of twenty-one. Jimmy signed for Manchester United at the age of 14 and made his debut away at Arsenal in the League Cup on Bonfire Night in 2001. He also represented his country from the age of 15 to under 20's level. While at Manchester United Jimmy was sent out on loan to Swindon Town and Watford and all these clubs support the fund. Each year the Memorial Fund holds a football match for Jimmy's Memorial Cup, the proceeds of which will go to the charity. FC United are honoured to have been approached by Jimmy's family to take part in this years Memorial Cup.

Following restructuring of the non-league pyramid at this level The Northern Premier League now consists of 22 teams in the Premier Division and 18 teams in each of the First Divisions North and South. The clubs joining us in the Northern Premier League First Division North will be:
Bamber Bridge, Bradford Park Avenue, Bridlington, Chorley, Clitheroe, Curzon Ashton, Garforth Town, Harrogate RA, Lancaster City, Mossley, Newcastle Blue Star, Ossett Albion, Radcliffe Borough, Rossendale United, Skelmersdale United, Wakefield, Woodley Sports.
Fellow promoted North West Counties side Nantwich have joined Northern Premier League First Division South and will be playing the likes of Quorn and Sheffield FC.
When the FA announced the details of the restructuring a number of clubs complained that a 34 game season was too short. To address this perceived shortfall the clubs decided to have an extra eight games; four to be played at home and four to be played away.
To facilitate these additional games each division will be split into two groups of nine clubs:
Group 'A' - Bamber Bridge, Chorley, Clitheroe, FC United of Manchester, Lancaster City, Radcliffe Borough, Rossendale United, Skelmersdale United, Woodley Sports.
Group 'B' - Bradford Park Avenue, Bridlington, Curzon Ashton, Garforth Town, Harrogate RA, Mossley, Newcastle Blue Star, Ossett Albion, Wakefield.
We will be playing the teams in Group A three times (four at home twice and once away plus four away twice and once at home) and the teams in Group B just twice with all the points gained counting towards the championship total.

The day had a party feel about it with FC regulars mixing with the locals and other United fans who came for the day. Studley have to have the biggest 'patio' I have ever seen at a football ground which extends half the length of the pitch. Covered from end to end with 'A' frame type tables and with drinks and hot food available throughout the match, Studleys only stand remained more or less empty as we soaked up the sun.
At the end there was the usual presentation ceremony and an auction of signed shirts that came from United, FC United, Watford and other clubs including a L.A. Galaxy shirt signed by David Beckham. I don't know how much was eventually raised for charity but Beckhams shirt alone had a reserve price of £290. All in all a good introduction to the pre-season program of games. Viva la revolution, come on FC.

Speaking of Conference teams. Kidderminster Harriers 1-1 FC United. I think we deserved a draw on Saturday although I understand they played a select XI. Even so there wasn't much between the teams, if anything we were the better team on the day. Our reserves also got a hard won 1-2 win against Avro FC on Saturday. Next up, Trafford FC on Tuesday night and Atherton LR on Wednesday night befor our long awaited match v. AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. Viva la revolution, come on FC.

Firstly, it's Tameside not Tamerside.
Secondly, no, you're right, postally that isn't Manchester.
Any word on when exactly your team will be changing their name to 'FC United of Bury'? Maybe you could put Lancs in brackets after it, just in case people don't know where it is?
