Goals from Simon Carden, Jerome Wright and Rhodri Giggs saw the Reds edge a feisty affair at Skelmersdale which saw two players sent-off.
After a bright start, FC finally took the lead when a Stuart Rudd shot found its way in via Carden's backside.
However, the expected goal avalanche didn't materialise and the Squirrels equalised through a Paul Wardley lob.
The second-half erupted when FC's Rory Paterson was sent-off after a high challenge on the Formby keeper, with the hosts' Lee Mullen also seeing red after an ensuing melee.
Soon after, Wright netted to restore the Reds' lead before Giggs sealed victory.
What is your verdict on the game? Have your say.

You say that your point is "that the Glazers do so so many things to provide the "business" side of the club". Please tell us what. I know you say they are recluses and don't like to boast, but you're not shy of publicity and can tell us. Can''t you???

7) Creation of Family friendly and fan friendly events like the Buccaneers have with their annual "Fan Fest". 8) Imtimidation of other clubs through their almost ruthless pursuit of business excellence. I could go on and on and on, but Free Red's computer might explode. Basically NONE of this list involves ANYTHING on the pitch, but every single item improves the position of the club to succeed, both on the pitch and off.

BTW the way you talk abou fan fest exposes you as none other than tommy. I wuld like to see the glazer board members dare to appear at a fan fest at OT. The Glazers have made no net contribution to MU, and they never can till they get people to repay the 660+ million debt. But not me, not a penny to the glazers ever ever ever

Once again Mr. Walny even though you claim to be a Pole living in Manchester your responses show this not to be the case.

What a load of bull! I think I'll adopt Free Red's suggsetion and post your list of Glazer achievements on the MEN MUFC site to see what United fans think.

Malcolm was clearly the brains of the outfit, but when he is gone? Clogs to clogs in 3 generations.

My point is Manchester United is not a business, and it's certainly not the Glazer family business. Manchester United is a football institution that was created and paid for by the people of Greater Manchester and beyond. It's part of people's lives and history. It was fantastically successful long before Glazer came along - because the fans made it so. It's our club and we want it back! FC is a working model for how that can happen, and that's why you hate us. But at the end of the day football belongs to the fans and the fans will take it back!

I come from Bury originally and have always supported United. I don't see why I should stop because I now live in Barnsley. Good luck to Stockport County by the way!
