Up to 18 sets of fans are reportedly ready to demonstrate against the two Irishmen, who are involved in a legal battle with manager Sir Alex Ferguson over the racehorse Rock of Gibraltar.
In a statement released to the Racing Post, United4Action claim 15 "cells" of fans will be in the Tattersalls enclosure and three in the Courage enclosure.
At a given time, these "will be activated at two or more very specific points with the idea that this will cause immense embarrassment to Mr McManus."
The protest will take place unless Cheltenham managing director Edward Gillespie grants the group permission to stage a protest.
"We have not made a decision on the request to allow United fans to protest but I need to respond to the e-mail by the end of tomorrow, otherwise it looks as if we are playing hard to get," Gillespie said.
"Whichever way we go, the situation will have to be managed."

It makes it sound like a terrorist plot - what are they going to do chuck prawn sandwiches at him - I bet he is quaking in his boots.
This is becoming a bit of a joke now. I bet half of these people dont even know what theyre protesting against. Its quite obvious M & M arent interested in taking over United, and theyll sell their shares when theyve made enough of a profit.
Personally, i cant help but feel SAF is being rather cheeky. He was "gifted" a share in a horse that has probably earned him a considerable amount of money, and he has done absolutely nothing to earn it. Not grateful with the vast fortune he already has, he's taking his old friends to court. It doesnt sound right to me. I obviously dont have any information on what deals/agreements were in place regarding ROG, but this has gone on to far.
SAF's sole prioroty should be MUFC. This dispute is clearly effecting the club- not only the players, but the fans, and potentially the future wellbeing of United. If it was a United player in the same predicament, you can guarentee fergie would have a) sold the player or b) ordered him to give up the fight.
Lets have an end to it all.
Its obvious that a lot of United fans no little about football or buisness, sticking by Alex is very loyal especially to the point that most people would not recieve a second glance from him, now football is buisness but what favours do they do the loyal support none.
What exactly is the protest about? M&M buying shares? They are not going to take over the club or else they would not have left the remaining shares on offer to Glazier. He's the one Utd fans should be more worried about - if there is any reason to be concerned. If he took over, he'll be bleeding Utd fans dry of any spare money. No one else is going to buy Utd stuff but the fans themselves.
Also, I doubt if M&M bought all those shares just to find a way of getting at Fergie. They had already spent a fortune in Utd and any right minded invester of that level would want board representation and assurance that due diligence is applied across the company. The RoG issue is more a catalyst to what M&M are doing with Utd rather than specifically being the reason.
Go to Cheltenham and enjoy the horse racing and forget the embarrasing protest.
... and I'll bet that none of these 'cells' are from Manchester!
We will fight them on the beaches on the land in the air, we shall never never surrender! This sounds more like the No brigade. Get a life boys, you`re not needed!
The need to actively take protest to racecourses in my mind is to put some level on pressure on M&M to settle the RoG dispute, as a counterbalance to the pressure they are putting on the plc board to make SAF capitulate. Knowing how stubborn SAF is, there is no way he will just give in without some sort of concession, rightly or wrongly, and a compromise is more likely to come about if M&M or indeed horse racing as a whole fear their own interests might be threatened. After the horse business is settled, all concerned can get back to campaigning on real corporate governance and takeover issues in a more civilised fashion and leave Rifleman to watch his gigis in peace.
Fantastic effort lads! MUFC will never die. I am ashamed at some of the previous comments 'reds' have made- they will, no doubt, appreciate it when their tickets don't cost B#50 a game. These guys have to be sent packing and any means taken are justified.
The way to solve this problem is to fire the board and put the horse in charge.
The "Rock" could even play then you would have a chance of progressing to the quarter final of the FA Cup.
That is of couse if the FA Cup isn't beneath Old Trafford these days.
Cheers
Stay out of Cheltenham, keep your pathetic football squable out of the greatest Race meeting in the world.
You muppetts should be behind bars not in "Cells"
