A GANG of hooded Manchester United supporters delayed the start of a horse race at Hereford this evening which featured JP McManus's horse Majestic Moonbeam.
The protesters marched down the middle of the track with banners that declared: "United are not for sale" and "Quit the horse play Coolmore", before taking up positions at the side of the track.
They delayed racing for 10 minutes before moving off, after hanging their banners on a fence.
Sir Alex Ferguson is currently locked in a bitter row with JP McManus and John Magnier over stud fees for racehorse Rock of Gibraltar.

Well done lads, the racing fraternity will not like this and will soon be putting pressure on Magnier et al.
They need stronger action than that what about the sufferajets and Emily Pankhurst they could have thrown a city supporter under the horse.
Who won the race?
Excellent news!
Well done to all involved!!
A job well done! Hopefully they get our message now!
fan power is powerfull keep up the good work just the same as us at exeter city fc
well done, keep up the good work lads
will do nothing to help Sir A , who if it continues and gets nore agressive as threatened on sone web sites , will hand the moral high ground to M@m . They already have the financial and legal high ground ...Sir A should distance himself from this sort of "support " immediately ..beter still he should sue for peace for the benefit of all .
