99 questions in racing duo's letter to Reds

A list of 99 questions sent to Manchester United by lawyers acting for racing tycoons John Magnier and JP McManus has been revealed today.

The Daily Mail publishes the document which was sent to United plc chairman Sir Roy Gardner and chief executive David Gill on behalf of Cubic Expression, the company through which the millionaires own 25.49% of the Old Trafford club.

The questions cover transfer dealings over which the racing duo had demanded an independent audit to establish why the club were paying vast sums to agents involved in the transfers.

Gill has vowed an internal review into the club's recent deals will be concluded as soon as possible.

The Manchester United chief executive announced on Monday that finance director Nick Humby would lead the in-house investigation, seen as a concession to Magnier and McManus.

Although sources in Ireland indicated the response will not be enough to deflect Magnier and McManus from their aim, Gill is hoping a speedy conclusion to the review may help appease the duo.

Big Bird, grow up. Do you really believe that everything in business is hunky dorey. There will always be skeletons in any business cupboards. Thing is, does anyone really know where all the bodies are buried? It could take a forensic scientist to work that one out.

If by that pal you mean burying your head in the sand,and taking everything at face value,then do one!I believe our club should be above suspicion in all dealings and believe as fans we have the right to speak up and voice our concerns no-matter what! I don`t belive in blind obedience pal,and won`t be taken for granted by anyone!As for yourself, if by throwing abuse at those who raise questions you think you can either win the arguement or silience those, who spent a lot of money to watch our team every week, home and away, your the one who needs to grow up and smell the roses!

It's time for Man U supporters to tell Magnier to pack his bags and sell his shares now while they are still worth anything. The way this idjut is behaving he will cause the collapse of a great club especially if Fergie decides to show him what United will be without him and moves to Chelski. Who are they intending to replace him with? Jumping Jack in the Box from Celtic? Do me a favour!!!!What has he ever won of worth. Zilch.

Calm down Big Bird, you are starting to lose the argument with United fans in GENERAL by all your bleating of possible improprietry. Don't listen to the tactics of the Coolmore man they are purely a smokescreen to cower SAF into settling out of court. He won't dare show up in person at an EGM because he reckons that threat will intimidate the board to make SAF settle. They will then sell their shares to the real buyer as yet undisclosed. Not inside info, just a prediction.

Am surprised of the amount of Irish supporters all of a sudden using this forum since these problems arose? I have nothing against our Irish supporters and who those who regularly use this site.Its those who just appear, then all of a sudden, their gone! Red Mick,thought no-one in Ireland used the defunct term Eire, and secondly,the word is eejit, not the non-existent term idjut you used?
Doubt you`re really Irish or even a United supporter, maybe an uncover bitter trying to mix it?

It seems to me Big Bird that you have upset your fellow rags across the water whereas all you are doing is saying that these tycoons have every right to investigate what is happening at Mould Trafford. I for one don't think Taggart is guilty of any wrongdoings I think he is being shown a lesson in not messing with the big boys. At the end of the day all these rags who are complaining know that whatever happens rags plc will continue long past all the squabbling has finished. Perhaps Taggart should put an end to it all and accept the B#7million he has been offered - as if he needs any more.

Lets be clear here, the right of any United suppoter to voice their views is always welcome, we`re a huge family!
What I won`t` agree to, are those who come here to attack under the guise of a supporter? As someone who regularly visits the bitters sites, I openly state my alleigance as they will say.
People who just appear on this site then disappear, against the perceived thinging are not just leaving their views but mixing it,eg khaled/glover/nicola, and now Red mick?
Now of course everyone is entitled to their view,but way hide their true motivations?
I was attacked about spelling mistakes recently,which are right and true, I`m not perfect.
What I was trying to say , and Declan YOU should have picked this up,anyone who is Irish or has Irish relatives knows how to speak and use the proper spelling? Not try and be phoneic??
This guy is a bitter, big deal, but come out and say it, don`t` be ashamed or afraid?
