BRITAIN'S anti-doping chief Michele Verokken has denied she has resigned from her job at UK Sport in the wake of the Rio Ferdinand affair.

However, Verokken, currently on leave from UK Sport, has vehemently rejected the claims she has ended her 15-year association with the organisation.

"I am disappointed by suggestions that I have resigned," she said.

"Such reports are entirely untrue, as are suggestions that the future of my employment is, in some way, linked to the Rio Ferdinand case." Tweet
