PARMA coach Stefano Pioli is delighted with the immediate impact made by loan signing Giuseppe Rossi.
The Manchester United striker, who started his career with the Ducale club before moving to Old Trafford, has rejoined the Gialloblu until the end of the season.
He impressed on his debut, grabbing the winner against Torino on Sunday.
"Rossi has done really well," said Pioli. "He has played with great intensity and quality. We knew that he would help us and I hope he can continue to play like this. I told him to play with the same intensity that he played with in the Premiership.
"He is a kid who has the right mentality, who wants to have a good career working hard and I know he can give us a lot."
The 19-year-old arrived back in Italy determined to have more playing time after starting just five games while on loan at Newcastle earlier this season.
"I'm young and I want to play, that is why I decided to go on loan to Parma," said Rossi. "I want to play as much as possible."
Do you think Rossi will become a first-team regular at Old Trafford? Have your say.

His agent yesterday said that MU have not accepted a 6m Euro offer for Rossi because they rate him highly. He also said that it will be very difficult to take him away from OT.
It seems that the top Italian sides are already monitoring Rossi. But I sure that if he continues to play well he ll be at OT come next June. I m convinced that one of the reasons for not buying a striker last summer is related to Rossi.

He signed a new contract with us in July 2006, which runs to 2010, so I'm sure the manager has no intention of selling him.
Obviously, if he continues to shine in Italy, all the top clubs there, and in Spain, will want to sign him, but I cannot see the manager letting such a talent go. If anyone saw the managers press conference last Friday, he said the reason they let him go to Parma was they guaranteed United that Rossi would get games, and all the boy needs is games and experience. He'll get that at Parma and come back a much better player. He is still only 19, so will develop physically. I don't see the PL being a problem for him, as he always performed well when given his chance in the first team with us, but sadly at Newcastle he didn't get a chance, and was playing with far inferior players.
Pique is also doing very well at Zaragoza. He has really filled out and looks the real deal now.
