Kieran Richardson

MANCHESTER Unitedés Kieran Richardson admits he is frustrated at his lack of first team opportunities.

But the midfielder is determined to turn things around in the second half of the season.

Richardson said: éI want to play all the time as I love pulling on the red jersey.

éAt the moment though it is hard to break into the side.

éEveryone has been playing out of their skins in every position.

éI am fighting for a place in the team but the most important thing is the manager (Sir Alex Ferguson) picks the right side to win the game.é

He should have been sold a long time ago, to think Utd sold the likes of Butt and Neville and kept him is a disgrace

Richardson had some first team chances early season but, even in a winning side, his form was appalling. His Utd career is over.

No. West Brom was about the right place for Richardson. It really winds me up that we let Quinton Fortune go but keep Richardson, if there has to be a left sided squad player then of the two I'd pick Fortune over Richardson in an instant. We have to bring in someone to replace Giggs eventually but at the moment with Giggs, Park and Ronaldo available I really don't see any point in Richardson being at the club.

I think Richardson found his level at West Brom and should return there immediately! He just hasn't done enough to suggest that he will ever reach the standard required to turn out for United regularly. Get shot and make a cheeky offer for Robben.

I think I've only ever seen one good game from Richardson wearing the Mna Utd shirt; he appears to have played better for WBA and England. I can't see him holding down a regular spot, even sans Giggs, let the lad go and build his career elsewhere.

Alot of negative comments flying around on Richardson. Don't necessarily disagree with all...but would still take Richardson over Fletcher and O'shea any day. At least Richardson has proven himself before in the league.

Like many others I foun=d that Riochardson played better at West Brom.
I feel that he's fallen short for the standard at OT.
Alas, as he's left-footed and that kind of player we have needed!

I think some players need to be playing every week to find their form, and I think Richardson is one of those.

richardspn is de reason i still think ders a chance i can play premiership football...he's bluffed his way thru so far based on a reputation from the youth team dat he was de next big thing but he jus aint gud enuf...maybe he started believin his own hype??

Not consistent enough, he plays well sometimes and goes missing the majority of the time, if we sell him why cant we expect a decent price, he's young ,english and an international with a good scoring record, if young from watford is attracting bids upto 8 million we shouldn't sell cheap. Also why do so many fans keep going on about how much a disgrace it was we sold neville, when the majority on this side berated his midfield prowess constantly, we still sold him and butt too cheaply also.

Richardson is agoog boy but at this time he doesn't qualify for the fist time because he is not all that creative in the field like the RONALDOL'S,ROONEY'S,the RIO'S and per now we want only win but not draw so let him train he will come when time comes thanks

Chris, I'm with you on this one mate. A bid for Robben who does not like the Chelsea rotation system or Moremoney is not unthinkable and it causes no end of trouble at Rouble Bridge. Besides, he is exactly who we need and with OH would have all bases covered. At the same time we get money for Smitty, Sly, KR and JOS WHO WOULD MAKE ROOM FOR A COUPLE OF KIDS.

ok MEN's now weekly ridiculous story on Ronaldo could pay off here. We could agree an Â£90 mil price for Ronaldo , put a bag on Richardson's head and send him in Ronaldo's place.

Yes, he is not up to the high standard required. No recruit from the Academy has been for more than a decade. Time to review the youth system urgently as the very high cost of it is not justified by what is being produced.

Lots of promise early on, but his ego gets in the way. On the pitch he believes he is a better player than he actually is. This season was his best chance to break into the team, but he has wasted the chances offered. Sad really as he looked a good prospect.

Believes all his own hype -simply not up to standard required - had to much to soon of the field - should have left him at WBA release him now.
