Clough: We'll play without fear

BURTON manager Nigel Clough is not holding out much hope of humbling mighty Manchester United - but if Albion do produce an FA Cup shock, the Brewers boss wants it to be on the back of entertaining football.

Clough saw his Football Conference part-timers earn a third-round replay date with Sir Alex Ferguson's Premiership giants after an entertaining 0-0 draw in the Midlands.

But despite the Old Trafford replay looming tonight, Clough has no intentions of betraying his football principles.

"In some respects, our best chance might be to try to hold out for 120 minutes and take it to penalties," said the 39-year-old son of the late Brian Clough.

"But on the other hand we like to think of ourselves as a side who can get the ball down and play it around and we really want to produce some good football up there.

Justice

"We're going up there with the intention of doing ourselves justice. We want to put on a good show for our fans - just like we did in the first game - and I'm hoping the lads will play without any fear and thoroughly enjoy the occasion.

"We'd absolutely love to score a goal at Old Trafford."

Meanwhile, the clamour for tickets in Burton has prompted United to increase their opponents' allocation from the initial 9,000.

An extra 1,000 soon sold out and another 300 are also expected to be snapped up.

Brewers chairman Ben Robinson said: "Manchester United have made an exception for us by allocating a section of another stand that they wouldn't normally open.

"The response in the town has been absolutely incredible. We're anticipating the figure could be something like 11,000 Albion fans heading to the game."

What is your prediction for the game? Have your say.

If Man United are surpose to be capable of beating Burton Albion then they should of beat them in the first leg. If Man United going to try and beat Burton Albion Man United are going to have to play just like the Magical Manchester City side that beats us in the Derbys. Manchester City are undefeated by us this season and took 4 points more than any other team. We always struggle against Manchester City and always end up slipping points or loosing all 3 when they play them home and away at their Stadium so we should respect them instead of always been the Prophetic bad losers we are and instead Alex Ferguson should model Manchester United on Manchester City because Manchester City are a Strong Hardworking team who put sweat on the shirt for the fans and play text book stylish Attacking and Defensive Football. At Manchester City the Fans, Stuart Pearce and the players are a Team. That is exactly what Man U should be. Alex should sell all the players and start a fresh and build a new side.

Alex should sell the players that are there just for the money and are overrated like Rio Ferdinand he was a waste of money at 30 Million we paid stupid money to Leeds for a below average player and he's more interested in his corn row hair style than he is in Manchester United. We should sell Rolando he is embarrassing to watch when ever he gets the ball he does some step overs it looks ridiculous he looks like he is doing the can-can when he does it then looses the ball to the other team and doesn't realize because he is still doing his step overs and if he doesn't loose the ball doing it he falls over instead and looses the ball that way. Man U should sell these players.

Well done Again Manchester City you took Manchester United appart 3-1 and Alex Fergusons piece in the papers saying The City of Manchester Stadium is Quiet back fired on him Manchester City was Awesome.
