Red Line: Why Tom Cleverley is key for Manchester United
October 07, 2011
Manchester United take a break this weekend because of the internationals, but as ever there is no shortage of talking points at old Trafford.
Click below to listen to MEN Sport's James Robson discuss the latest issues, including why he believes Tom Cleverley is already a key midfield presence for United.
I am GOD (19x Champions) Chicharito is The Chosen One, Sir Alex Ferguson is the true special one Wrote…
Tom Cleverley is already a key player here at Manchester United and is quickly becoming England's best midfielder all do to be fair there isnt alot of competition for him as he is already better than Milner, Barry, Gerrard, Lampard, and Parker all do that isnt difficult when you are as talented as Cleverley. Tom is a star on the rise, another United talent ready to keep us at the top of world football where we belong winning trophies.
James, whilst understandably diplomatic, perfectly sums up how much better we are with TC in the team than Carrick. I think the vast majority can see that.
Lets not get hysterical over the lad, he's played a handful of games and done well, but United fans have a habit of seeing nothing but stars in whoever pulls on red shirt.
Lets take the pressure off and hopefully see him develop into the player we all want him to be.

Can't wait for him to get back in the side.
