A group called the `Manchester Education Committee' insist they have been monitoring the movements of the Glazer family and would "ensure a warm welcome" for any family member visiting England, "no matter how large the phalanx of bodyguards".
The MEC would also consider the United board as having "collaborated" with Glazer if they recommend his bid to shareholders and said directors would then be "in an extremely vulnerable position for years to come".
An MEC statement read: "It is our club and we will be ruthless in protecting it.
"Our previous symbolic actions have been disregarded; we have no choice now but to act with our full capabilities.
"Malcolm Glazer's continued pursuit of Manchester United indicates that he has paid no attention to the wishes of the overwhelming majority of ordinary supporters of the club, or to the warnings he has been given.
"It is therefore clear that the the consequences of any takeover bid need fully spelling out for all parties concerned.
"Any board member who may be coveting a place in the management structure of a Glazer regime is advised immediately to abandon such hopes. Collaborators will be treated as such.
"The movements and whereabouts of all board members will continue to be of the utmost interest to us."
The group has in the past claimed responsibility for vandalising the house and car of former United club solicitor Maurice Watkins, who indirectly sold '1million worth of shares to Glazer. They also invaded the pitch during a United reserve match last year.
They are now planning to step up their activities after it was confirmed United had received a "detailed proposal" from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner. Tweet

I do not condone the use of violence in order to solve disputes.
But surely this is just self-defence? Nobody invited the Glazers to Manchester.
The only way to treat these law breaking thugs. If anyone is injured or thier life has been endangered is catch them and throw the key away then deduct pionts from the team this way any future thug will then may think twice.
What a bunch of muppets, Do you honestly think a few threats on a dodgy website are going to worry Mr Glazer? not a chance. Get working on your Malcolm Glazers red and white army songs you clowns.
I wish the MEC all the luck in the fight to remove the red-haired midget menace from our dooorstep. The police stepping in will only make the resolve greater.
Welcome to the world of the plc
Absolutely pathetic statement from a bunch of wannabe paramilitaries. This is the last thing that opponents of Glazer's bid should be doing, it will alienate large members of the United support that we need to oppose Glazer.
I hope the police infiltrate this group and deal with them accordingly.
As long as they only damaging property, and not hurting anyone I totaly support this group. Let's show Glazer that we are NOT interested in him taking over OUR club. He doesn't see anything else than dollarsigns in his eyes!
Tom, mossley, you muppet, get your bitter self down to your council house before you stick your nose into other peoples affairs.
who do you think owns the club now, the ragged troused philanthropist? It is certainly not 'YOUR CLUB' 3-0 on Sunday. Growler!
Well! I had some good stories to tell with The King (Eric) and his humour, but this is something!.... The MEC!?
Well, not that I agree with MG's ways, but but physical violence is not the solution.
Hear, hear Craig, droylsden . Maybe Bitter Tom, Mossley could meet Steve, Crewe and they can discuss the useless states of their respective teams.
Oh please! DO a bunch of militant wannabe's really think that they will bother the mighty malcolm glazer? HA!
It doesnt suprise me but maybe they should be the MUP - Manchester UNEDUCATED Comitee! Its ridiculous and the FA should step in and warn that the RAGS will be deducted points if anything should happen.
Most United fans are irish so we should have expected an IRA style responce!
GROW UP YOU CHILDISH LITTLE WORMS!
Magnier & McManus are the key but they will only sell if the board approves the deal. If the Glazer sale goes ahead, then it is the board who have allowed it. They have a duty to serve the shareholders first and foremost. Preferred stock may be seen to some as debt but in technical terms, it is equity. If the board cannot argue out of this then they will accept.
It is the BOARD who will decide on the future of MUFC.
This is typical of the London looney,s who follow United. They give our club a bad name.
Glazer is entitled to try and buy our club you cant refuse to sell your house to somebody just because of colour or creed.
I welcome his approach changes are needed and he will make them.
Had to laugh - true blue having a pop - saying they should rename MEC Manchester Uneducated Comitee (spelt wrong) - MUP(P?! not C then). True blue, you are a daft muppet - go back to your own site. Mary - what's London got to do with anything?!
I'm sorry I can't be at OT tonight to help persuade the board to make the right decision, but I hope all of the Reds of Manchester will be their to make sure Glazer stay's away from our club.
I truly hope that SU's letter to Mr. Gill will help us win the war against Glazer, as it has listed all the soung arguments for why a take-over is wrong. I don't know all the reasons listed in the letter, but I do know that Manchester United is property of the fans- and not for some American (or any other for that sake).
People of Manchester: Please spend the night outside Old Trafford. Our club's future is at stake!!
NOT FOR SALE!
Typical Norwegian Roar, Norway. "as long as they only damage property"?? In UK idiots like this hurt people - we call them hooligans, not "Militants". Ed - Don't raise their stature - they're talking about a business venture, not a political/religious issue. I don't like it, but the blame is on the boardroom that got greedy and wanted masses of money - and the fans, unfortunately are mostly unaware of long term consequences as long as they get the success in the short term. I think the fans should demonstrate by not turning up at a home game - that'd catch the headlines. Show Glazer the depth of feeling - and no fans means no profit for him! He might just get the point then. Right now I reckon he thinks it's all hot air - he knows what it feels to support a team - so he reckons it'll blow over. Look how fickle we are - use to hate Alan Smith! But then I'm just a sceptic!
I cannot be the only football fan NOT a supporter of Liverpool FC to be fed up with the powerful media campaign to get the club into next seasons Champions League.
Liverpool FC have a unique relationship with the media whereby in comparison with other clubs their successes are celebrated & hyped on a vastly higher scale & any failings are treated with comparitive kid gloves. With Liverpool FC there is NEVER a sense of perspective.
When previously in the history of the game have rules been chased retrospectively ?
Answer .... NEVER !!
In principle I believe a team should have the opportunity to defend a trophy won but as the rules currently don't allow for it then TOUGH LUCK !!
If there is a unanimous belief that the rules are flawed then as is normal, change them going forward.
Its hard to sympathise with Liverpool when it could be argued they were extremely fortunate to have been in this season's Champions League having finished a mammoth 30 pts behind previous Premiership Champions Arsenal.
In this Premiership Season they have amazingly finished a whopping 37 pts behind Premiership Champions Chelsea. Liverpool FC lost a staggering 14 matches in the Premiership this season (Arsenal FC have lost 14 matches in the last 5 seasons !) and lost out on Champions League qualification to Everton a team who came 17th the previous season & this season sold their Superstar player & their next best player whilst operating on a shoestring budget.
It is interesting Sepp Blatter of FIFA is supporting a rule change to include Liverpool FC in next season's Champions League despite his instigation of a rule change that the holders of the World Cup do NOT now have automatic qualification into the next World Cup Finals.
If Brazil fail to qualify in the South American section for entry to the 2006 World Cup then there will be no rule change to include Brazil in those finals.
In the Olympic Games, Champions don't have automatic qualification into the next Olympic games.
If an American Olympic Champion is injured at the time of their Olympic trials then its tough luck & they are not entered.
The Daily Mail is running a vociferous campaign to get Liverpool FC into next seasons Champions League whereby they want readers to email championing Liverpool's cause to......
Info@uefa.com also sending a copy to liverpool@dailymail.co.uk
Fans of Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton & Manchester United I ask you .........
If it was your club in Liverpool's position, do you honestly believe the media would be so passionate & vociferous in your club's cause ? NO!! I don't think so !!
Arsenal & Everton fans should remember that they were denied in the late 1980's a season each of participation in the European Cup due to the conduct of Liverpool fans at Heysel in 1985.
I strongly urge fans of the above clubs to email the above email addresses & say a big NO ! NO ! to Liverpool FC. Also urge friends/other fans to do the same !
Many thanks !!
Mr. Notoliverpool - or should I call you Boris? - you raise some interesting points but I think that LFC are as good as in next year's competition. I wonder which poor team will be unceremoniously informed that their Champions League place is being revoked so that the 5th best team in England don't have to suffer the indignity of entering the UEFA Cup.
