SECOND-HALF goals from Ramon Calliste and David Poole steered United Reserves to a Manchester Senior Cup group victory at Gigg Lane.

Calliste struck in the 51st minute when he latched on to a through ball before beating Bury keeper Peter Collinge with a low shot.

And Poole, who had earlier squandered four chances, made sure of the win by taking on Calliste's pass and scoring with 20 minutes left.
