UNITED have been dealt a blow ahead of Saturday's Charlton clash with the news that Louis Saha will be out for a month.
The French forward picked up a knee injury while on international duty against Poland on Wednesday.
And while Ruud Van Nistelrooy looks to have shaken off the knock he took while playing for Holland against Andorra, Saha's injury will keep him sidelined, leaving United with food for thought ahead of the clash with Charlton and next week's Champions League match against Lyon.
"There are one or two decisions to make," Reds assistant boss Carlos Quieroz told the official United website. us.
"Not because they are serious problems, simply because we need to think about Tuesday's game against Lyon.
"Louis Saha's injury is more serious than we expected. It's not good news. We know that, for the next three or four weeks, we cannot think about Louis Saha."
Who should United play upfront? Have your say.

BLOODY HELL
Fulham done well, selling us an injury prone striker for B#12 million. I'm getting a bit fed up with all his injuries, especially when he plays for France in these meaningless friendlies. Maybe he should do the right thing and retire from International football for a year, and let his injuries fully recover. I don't think we should bring him back until he solves his problems. No point him coming back and then getting injuried a few weeks later.
Saha must be the most injury prone striker we have ever bought. He spends more time on the sidelines than playing. We ought to cash in and bring in one of our reserve strikers, to make up the 4. Not only will it save money, but it will encourage the reserves even more to press for first team places. I think M Hughes must of been the last striker we brought through the ranks, that played regular.
