I am a fan of Parky for his energy and drive but I think he would do well to heed his own words in relation to his own performances.

He can and must improve on last season.

He is useless too, a pity , but thats the truth , sorry park

He might not be the best player in the World but he is a very good sqaud player and versatile.He scores big goals in big games as he has proved over the last couple of years with goals against AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal etc...And he will always put in a shift and give 100%. So not a bad player to have around.

suggest he applies this mantra on a personal level because he is one of the squad players who need to improve by a MASSIVE amount .

Balders, I'm pretty sure it's the "photoshopped" version of the black-out pictures that were circulated as a teaser before that kit was launched. Another example of rubbish photo editorial quality MEN when it comes to United staff.

Same group dissing park like they dissed Nani, Berbatov, Forlan, ....Anderson, Carrick......They will and would all come good if given the chance like the godchild.

I think Park is under-rated. He puts in a shift, is always ready to do what the manager tells him to, and has a knack of saving his best performances against the best teams. Arsenal must be sick of the sight of him.

Some games the guy is hard working and contributes to the game. Other times he is annonymous. He is s good squad player and SAF will always use him wisely.

I must confess to feeling a wee bit sorry for the guy. He is not the most gifted of players, and his contribution is, up to a point, somewhat limited, but when called upon to play, he always gives one hundred percent for our cause. Most of the time, he is asked to play a certain role by SAF, and this role sometimes does limit the style of his natural ability; this gives the impression that he is not fully contributing to the game. Please bear that in mind when you see him play next time, as he is only following tactical orders .

As other posters have commented, there have been games when he has truly showed world class play, and these have been in important matches. To summarise, he IS an important and valuable squad player, something in the O'shea mould.

He most certainly does not deserve the ridicule and scorn that is often thrown his way by some people, although I suspect and hope that some of the criticism is meant to be of the humorous mode that used to be attributed to the one and only Ralphie?!

It goes without saying, of course, that while he wears our shirt, he will ALWAYS receive my complete encouragement and support.

United 'til I die!

Never was and never will be united quality and still can't stand up in a stiff breeze. I think it's a great shame that Fergie seems to think that the likes of Park and Owen are better options than Cleverley or Macheda. When is he going to give these young players the opportunity if not now?

Park is a good central midfielder, that's where he plays his best football and that's where Gus Hiddink played him for PSV and for South Korea. We have Scholes, Giggs and Fletcher who play there, so he get stuck out on the wing. Maybe when Scholes and Giggs have gone he can show his true worth?

I feel sick when I see that one of United's hardest workers is a subject of certain remarks from the club's own fans. Gilly, next time you call someone 'useless', look in the mirror, if not at your posts. Park is an extremely intelligent off-the-ball player, and you have to have something about you, if SAF feels he can ask you to do anything. He also has a proud record of scoring in World Cups, and scoring goals against Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton, Aston Villa and AC Milan. He is dedicated, trustworthy, honest, never complains, and at £4m, I would go further and say that we got what SAF would call 'value for money', and then some. Also, he doesn't bring hotheadedness and ill-discipline with him, and for that, I respect him more than most. He can always improve, but I thought last season, he was brilliant when we needed him. He's adding goals to his game, and getting better at finding those attacking positions. There was one moment, against Hull last season, and it shows very well, what Park is about. He won the ball, started a move, ran the length of the pitch and forced an own goal; If the defender misses it, Park had it covered. That goal turned the match around. Now, he will be the first to say he's not perfect, but he, for me, represents the things which are good in football. The question shouldn't be whether you think he's good enough or not, but whether other players hate playing against him; I would bet that Real Madrid, Arsenal especially, Both Milans, Chelsea, Barcelona, etc. do, as he doesn't afford them time or space, and he forces them into making errors. I still believe that he would be a worthy addition to ANY squad in the game, and am very grateful that to have him at United.
