Van der Sar: Don't think the Dutchman's gloves will need to go to the laundry 6
Neville: Some dozy moments that could have cost Reds but got over them swiftly 6
Ferdinand: Cool as you like at the back and even threw in a decent volley at other end 7
Vidic: Looked shattered late on but he had put in a decent shift 7
Evra: No concerns at back and restricted attacking forays meant relatively subdued afternoon 6
Valencia: One of his quietest games for a while and didn't really cause Fulham any problems 6
Fletcher: Worked hard to get on top of Fulham's midfield who'd kept possession well 7
Carrick: Like his sidekick he kept at it to ensure United finally won midfield battle 7
Nani: A mixed bag from the winger but when he got it right it brought the breakthrough 7
Rooney: Another two clinical efforts and generally all round he unnerved Fulham 9
Berbatov: Two assists and a goal this was one of his best games for Reds 9

Park: (sub Valencia 73) Good assist 6

Nice to see our players starting to hit peak form at a crucial part of the season.

Really, Danny WILMSLOW you should never reveal your true Identity to the world. Now I understand why people here talk about your senseless postings. In most cases, people talk without thinking. At least they just do that in a matter of milliseconds. It took you about 10 seconds to write that post and post it and you still didnt think.
Could it be that you dont have a brain to think with? Just asking.

The Nevster – Almost back to his best and some terrific crossing – 8
Vid – Solid as a rock and also back to his best – 8
Rio - Sailed through the game – 7
Evra – Much more like Patrice – 7
Valencia – Did his job well if not quite as good as lately – 6
Fletch – All action terrier. Great game – 9
Michelle – As well as I’ve seen him play. Wonderful passing and totally dominant – 9
Nani – Now he really is looking the part and he is becoming a nightmare to oppo’ defences – 8
Berbatov – Again a terrific performance and could have scored FOUR headers!!!
Back to his Spurs best – 9
Roon – Another awesome display & could have scored 4 or 5. – 9
Park – Nice cameo - 7

Neville: OK game. Some mistakes. Solid atticking support for Valencia. 6
Ferdinand: Good game. Looked alert when Fulham posed a threat. Some good distribution too. 7
Vidic: Surprised once, but otherwise a good game. Some excellent tackling. Important presence (as with Rio and vdS. 8
Evra: Atticking more than in previous games. Still look like he could use a rest (and who blaims him!) Solid defending. 8
Valencia: Excellent a breaking free from his opponents. Good quality on his crosses, always a threat. Not too much involved, unfortunately. 7
Fletcher: Hard working as always. Helped riding off what looked to be a good fulham period with his defensive skills. 8
Carrick: Some good passing, although I still feel he takes too long with the ball (at times). 6
Nani: Awful crossing, corners, etc. Not too impressive ball handling. Works harder now, and hopefully we'll see him from a better side. Too slow with the ball at times. 5
Rooney: Great understanding of the game; always where he is supposed to be. Hard working as always. 9
Berbatov: Great contribution. Definitely showed why SAF has such confidence in him. 9
Substitutes
Park: (sub Valencia 73) Good assist, good involvement. Looking more and more important. 7
Fabio: (sub Neville 87). Good to have him back.
Not used: Obertan, Diouf, Gill, C Evans, Kuszczak
Referee: Michael Jones: Poor. Not on top of the situations, unfair treatment of the players, failed to give one obvious penalty decision. 3.

Agree with your comment's regarding Evra's attacking play. However, I think you're stretching it a bit when you say "on goal" did you see his right footer go out for a throw-in? lol

Neville-two games in 4 days, how many times could you say that recently? He did OK 7
Ferdinand-was he playing? Sound as a pound, and nearly scored 7
Vidic- A bit mithered early on having his nose battered yet again. Had Zamora well shackled, and got back well when Zamora went on walkabouts. 7
Evra-Paddy got forward loads of times, he was never restricted! Another good shift. 7
Valencia-Got involved, but appeared to be crowded out at times. 6
Fletcher-Started a bit rusty, but kicked on especially in the second half. Eventually settled the midfield and dictated. 7
Carrick-Still giving the ball away in silly areas in the first half, but atoned with a solid 2nd half show. 6
Nani-Continues to run up blind alleys when he panics, but superb ball for Rooney's first, and he never hides to his credit. 6
Rooney-He was getting frustrated in the 1st half, there was a blatant penalty on him given mind. 2nd half, he took over. I'm giving the man 9, no not for his goals, but for that pass to Park. That has to be the pass of the season so far. 9
Berbatov-Missed 3 clear cut chances, offside continually, scored one, made one. The talent is there, with Rooney's assist, the frustration is worse. 6
Park-Didn't disappoint, kept the tempo up, and made a goal. 7

As is my want these days, scores out of 3.
VDS - 2 - it'd have been a 1 due to complete lack of action but that would be cruel. His demeanour always gets one point on the board, and a clean sheet adds the other. Dependable, reassuring and i'm sure he makes a really good cup of tea.
Nev - 2 - 2 starts in a week must have made his head spin and his limbs ache at the very thought of it. A mixed bag but such a reassured defence cured any potential ills.
Rio and Vidic - 3 - it's like Curtis and Lemmon at their best but without the punchlines. Sturdy and entertaining, but what happened to the days of centre halfs scoring goals!
Evra - 2 - like a jack rabbit who doesn't quite realise how tired he really is.
Tony V - 2 - after chaffing my chagrin early doors, i simply like him being there these days - the tight hair, the straight face, the subtle fouling and he always seems to occupy a couple of opposition players.
Fletch and Michelle - 2 - persistant and again, a fair double act in the making. Don't get me wrong, there's moments where i wonder what on earth is going on, but they both tend to do something in a match that warms my cockles.
Nani - 2 - i think he's given something up for Lent, but God loves a trier apparently. I'm far from being omnipotent and he's testing my affection. However that pass for Mr Rooney was either a gift from Allah or a touch of class, which saves him from a single score from me.
Mr Rooney - 3 - trimmed and raring to go. If he wasn't so bullish and more waiflike we wouldn't have the player we have, but we'd have had a few more penalties. Scores goals like alf tupper wins races.
Dimitar Berbatov - 3 - a centre forward in the making!!!
SAF - his ability to shape a player to become the best in the world is mind boggling. And bless Roy Hodgson - a graceful man who can take a beating and pay a compliment. i like that.

VdS-7- Fans are finally listening to the wealth of scientific evidence about the harm that fashion industry images cause………keep up the good work Edwin…… it's easy money !
Chugga Boom-6- some recent events had us wondering if the Roaring Plenty was back BUT, it's not to be. Despite a few extra glimpses of 'getaway' power yesterday, chugga boom stalled on too many occasions.
Rio-8- First half hasty retreat makes me think that extra yard of 'zip' has gone, but he's still a class act.
Vida-6- I fear for next week and the sensory deprivation that increased isolation brings, the like only Donald Hebb has ever attempted or researched !! He must resist and counter the experiment with 'space behind him' deprivation instead !
Pat Cezanne-8-Similarly, it's only when they're gone that ALL the world through hindsight acknowledges the enormity of their Genius !
Tony V-6- Maybe time for another little rest ? It's not easy this Man Utd lark, it takes time to adjust. A good game for Wigan, usually meant a 5-0 drubbing in the next match, with nobody really caring !
McNoddy-8-Can you not put some forking war paint on or something?...Please. Or smother yourself in deep fried mars bar or whatever it is that tartan warriors did ?
Triple M-7- Yesterday further highlighted the life of Triple M, off colour (not in the Fletch kind of way!) & slow in the first half……so were Utd ! In the second......quality passing, mobile, with more energy and vigour whilst looking far too good for the opposition........are we talking Utd or the much maligned Michelle ?
NinikomPoop-7- As annoying as the wife farting in bed ! He brings a ball down from 60 yds on his chest, dances past his marker & then when the simple easy ball inside to Pat is screaming out to be released, he…, well I think he must fart like the wife or something, because his legs all wobble, one leg somehow goes behind the other, his backside sticks out.....anyway, it's one almighty load oh shehight anyway !! Fair play to him though, he doesn't hide from such abhorrence and despite severe rollickings from Roon, he comes back for more and then comes up smelling of roses. So, like me.......it's just something we're all going to have to live with ! :)
Roon-7- Even if it's not actually that good, everything he does at the moment turns to gold……...or ginger !!!! ……...Beware Colleen I say !!
Berbaslob-9-I think that may rank as his best game in a utd shirt. Not sure what instigated the increase in an energy level, maybe it was just that he felt respected by Fulham's agreement to play his style of game. The touches & flicks et al……we know are there......but when added to a broth of extra effort......it throws up a Bulgarian Banitza !!
Subs
Parklife-6- A nice helping of Alsatian savoury !
Robertson-5- not enough time to decide if it was or it wasn't !
happy days.
