The Brazilian midfielder has been absent from Sir Alex Ferguson's seniors since the Eastlands Carling Cup derby six games ago.
He was left out of the XI following the semi first-leg defeat and allegedly missed training and had a bust-up with the United manager.
He has been pencilled in for two reserve outings since against Bolton and Burnley that had to be postponed.
Fergie didn't take the player to Italy for United's Champions League tie with AC Milan.
If tonight's Moss Lane re- arranged match against Burnley goes ahead, the 21-year-old could be in Ole Solskjaer's side and put himself in contention for Saturday's Premier League match at Everton.
Do you think Anderson will force his way back into United's first team? Have your say.

That said, SAF, despite many wondering if he'd lost the plot with his judgement/handling of Arnold & Nini, he has shown recently that he really is the master !!
1) It's looking like his handling of Nini will pay dividends. Even if SaF decides to sell, he'd now get his money back.
2) This recent handling of Arnoldson shows he won't be taken for a ride either.
So, it really is up to the young Stevie W impersonator to buckle down, work hard (something he quite clearly hasn't done) and prove that he wants it ! Nini has done just that, & he's looking like he & we might be about to reap the rewards.
So, listen to Mr Drummond & cut out the "what you talking about willis" !!

His attitude reminds me of Mr K Richardson, now of Sunderland.

Millions have disappeared on the likes of Ando, Nani, Berbatov, Hargreaves, Saha and Tosic in recent years and either the quality, attitude or fitness hasn't been quite right.
SAF is ultimately responsible for the due diligence being done properly on acquisitions and it hasn't worked aswell as it should have.
Even after Tuesdays great result in Milan, the feeling remains that SAF will still need most of the Glazers £75m revolving credit facility to repair and improve the squad in the summer.
It is vital for the future that his buying improves on recent efforts.

Fair to say we are split on this Anderson dude.....
My opinion changes from week to week.
He cant shoot thats a fact.
People say play him more in a forward role, i refer you to my above point.
I honestly like his combative style, the way he gets his body in between players and wins tackles.
His penetrative passes are pretty poor, always over hits them.
Great engine though.
Lazy style the way he bobs about the pitch like hes a fat kid but he can shift.
Thats my view hope I have confused you more.
Me, Im undecided.

a prerequisite is that a central midfield player has the ability to pass the ball, carrick is very good at it whereas it is a major failing in anderson. carrick has a sweet shot in both feet( granted he is somewhat reluctant to use it) but the less said about andersons ability to shoot the better.
anderson was bought for a shed full of money and season on season has gone backwards. carrick has been playing well lately andersen has been abject at times this season.
i am not one of michelles biggest fan but get real he is streets ahead of andersen.
