6 Neville: Some glimpses that were more like the Neville of old
7 Brown: Not much from Pompey’s attack to seriously test him
8 Evans: Another competent performance that the new England captain would have been impressed with
6 Evra: No trouble from Portsmouth down his flank and a nice easy afternoon
6 Valencia: Eased back into first team action and revved things up when needed
8 Fletcher: The relentless Scottish dynamo drove United’s machine with purpose
7 Carrick: Cool foil to Fletcher’s non-stop energy but was effective
7 Nani: Not quite as spectacular as of late but he had some eye-catching moments
7 Rooney: Took his time to get motoring and cause damage but opener was classic
7 Berbatov: One poor miss, well struck goal but lift assist for Valencia chance was glorious highlight
Substitutes:
Owen: (Berbatov, 66) One good set up for Diouf 6
Gibson: (Fletcher, 66) Decent effort 6
Diouf: (Rooney, 66) Lively spell 6
Not used: Park, Fabio, De Laet, Kuszczak

Like so many others, I'd like to see Valencia given a couple of games in a more central role, he quick, strong and willing to work, so my comments are not aimed at knocking Valencia, I'd just like to see players given the best opportunity to produce their best performances, by being played in the right positions.

Nani and Valencia can share the right wing as far as I'm concerned - there will always be injuries and they can also be rotated.
Alternatively, try Valencia somewhere else.

Liking the look of Diouf but after giving alien head the kiss of death I'm going not going to go over the top about it. I felt his movement was responsible for the fifth goal even though he missed another opportunity - to be honest I have seen Owen make more glaring misses.

Chugga boom-7-Even the old vehicle showed no mercy as it rode roughshod over the defenceless little frog face lying motionless in the road!
Seamus O'Vidic-8- One of those days where he seemed constantly in the wars but kept coming back for more - lets hope he never meets a girl……..who yearns for Spain !!
Terry……….'s Chocolate Orange-7- No segments required.
Le O'shea-7-Never thought I'd see the day but I counted 3 horrendous 'shanks' from our Petite Patrice - steady on John, I said shanks ! Although one did Bobble….Oh la la !
What's the matter you, hey-6- A little rest seemed to have affected & confused him - didn't look like he was a the races. Mestizos, Mulattos or Zambos ?
Fingal-8-Typical warrior like performance in the first half when he seemed to be everywhere. Presentation of half-time apple earned him a well deserved 25 minute rest.
Meeshell-8-obviously feeling really good about her shape, figure and skin at the moment judging by the quality of her passes! Some strangely still think she's a minger though !
Nini Mills-6- If ever proof was required that the task is just physically beyond you, this week proved it for poor Heather !
Holy Lazy Striker Batman-6- Despite the amazing talents of his smaller sidekick he still looked unwilling to emerge from the Batcave. Until Pompey literally begged him to !!
Glazer Plant?-9-Recent facial hair growth & all round appearance is one for the conspiracy theorists out there !?
Subs
My My Danny-3- Fanny could be in the dog house this week for not reminding Danny that another of his protégé's, earlier n the season, had already shown us the… 'dribble the ball out of play' trick !!
Mo-5-Again looked Bright & Full of Energy. Funny that. Could easily have bagged a few 'tap ins' on another day.
Beyonce Lopez-5-No repeat of the Rocky Hull err picture show.
SaF-7- played 2 CF's as required for this fixture, got the rewards and spent the afternoon reading big issue.
Pumped' Fans-10- Genuinely felt sorry for them and if those were Green & Gold scarves that I could see in their section then, respect is due. I hope they also sort their predicament out !!
Ref-7-easiest game he'll ever referee in his life !!

OR you never were from MC ?
So, sorry, it should read for you :
Netminder: great shot interceptance stats.
right cornerback: good punt return stats.
free Safety: awesome collisions dude.
WESLEY: jee that guy is tough.
leftt cornerback: field yardage is awesome for a little guy.
wide receiver right:could have done with some more game time recently.
centre: most sacks ever in a game.
quarterback: PB passing yardage stats.
wide receiver left:perhaps more suited to special teams.
kicker: another good field goal. 21 in the regular season now.
Punter: great long range punt brought extra point.
special teams:
1) took the ball over the sidelines man.
2) shouldn't be benched all the time man.
3) could end up a defensive lineman if he has any more popcorn, bagels & soda.
coach : good to see he concentrated on off-fence.
away fans : travelled a long way to support their team. gotta respect them man.
umpire : high five's man.

Why so few posts after a 5-0 win? Is it because the postings have been overwhelmed by the Glazer ownership monologue (mentioning no names) and we have lost the will to live (or indeed post)?
