NANI has risked the fury of Sir Alex Ferguson after lifting the lid on his Old Trafford torment.
But the £16m winger insists he will fight for his United future – despite revealing the furious bust-ups he has had with his manager.
In comments that are sure to earn him more “hairdryer” treatment from Fergie, Nani has hinted at broken promises from the Scot since his move from Sporting Lisbon in 2007.
And asked if his career was being handled badly, he said: “As it is now, I think so.”
Nani added: “People expect more from me and it’s not easy. But they are also not doing what they said they were going to.
“I know it would be better if I scored more goals. I can have a spectacular game, but nobody guarantees me I will be starting the next match. It shatters your confidence.
Sad
“I did not play the important matches, against Liverpool, Manchester City, or Tottenham. Not playing these games, I am a bit sad. But for now I am not considering leaving.”
Nani has cut an increasingly frustrating figure at United. And he admits Ferguson has already laid into him over his inconsistency.
“He’s tough,” said the Portuguese international. “If things are all right, then they are all right. But when he thinks something is wrong, everything is screwed.
“He can go from complimenting you to just plain trashing you in a matter of minutes. Has it happened to me? Hell yes. He’ll say ‘Nani, how could you miss this or this?”
Nani is already coming under increasing pressure at United with summer signing Gabriel Obertan impressing this season, while Zoran Tosic is another player signed to fill the berth on the left.
He will have to wait to see if his outburst is the final nail in the coffin of his United career.

Monkey tennis?, yes please (12/11/2009 at 10:21)
Is this guy for real? where on earth does he think he's playing his football and who on earth does he think he is?
If this is a relatively truthful account - which it rarely proves to be on the MEN (no doubt someone will tell us it was another joke on MUTV, or part of an audition for the portuguese "i'm a celebrity...") then indeed he could be in the january sales...

he brings nothing at all to the team, doesnt create, puts us in trouble, doesnt put the work in, and now he doesnt even score goals anymore which you could rely on the odd one every now and again, a waste of space, unlike all our other top players that played for us in the early 20s, they had good and bad games but you could see they had it, with Nani you cant see that and he has no good games

And as for your comment “I know it would be better if I scored more goals. I can have a spectacular game, but nobody guarantees me I will be starting the next match" - That is because you are inconsistent and garbage.
You've had your chance. Laaaaaters.

I like his directness and he can score goals just wish he would look up a bit, play the right pass and cross sometimes, also starting to roll about again in games, and berba and rooney look like they want to kill him most of the time take the appreciation berba showed giggs when he crossed to him at stoke when giggs replaced nani.

Grow up, have you got nothing better to do than leave petty comments on our side. Why don't you stick to commenting on your own teams stories and grow up a little bit! Muppet!
