United draw Spurs in Carling Cup

MANCHESTER United have been drawn at home against Tottenham in the Carling Cup quarter-finals.

The game will be a repeat of last season's final, which United won on penalties.

Full draw:

Blackburn v Chelsea
Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur
Portsmouth v Aston Villa
Manchester City v Arsenal

Matches to be played the week commencing November 30.

Well,looks like the Reds against Chelsea eh!
Arsenal youth will outplay the whingers.
Villa the other semi-finalists!

I had a feeling it would be Spurs who looked indifferent against Arsenal today. Of course we will have the kids out and Harry will have a full strength Spurs. Still, it's at OT plus Fergie will beef it up a bit and players like Tosik and Obertan will have some first team minutes under their belt. Maybe Hargreaves will be ready for some playing time. Delaet, Brown, Evans and Fabio is not a bad back four and Tosik, Gibson, Anderson and Obertan is not a bad mid field. Owen and Berbie could start up front so all in all not a bad team. Just musing. City are capable of taking Arsenal, Villa is a banker as is Chelsea. United City semi would then be on the cards as fate takes over.

I know this is off topic but i'm just watching the football results coming in and so much for Liverpool turning their season around,beating us last weekend now getting beat by Fulham 3-1.
