MANCHESTER United defender Ferdinand substitution in the 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow was just a precautionary measure.
The centre back came off just before the hour as the Reds maintained their 100 per cent record in Champions League Group B.
The defender said: "I knew before the game I would be playing around 60 minutes.
"The group has gone according to plan and we can now look forward to Liverpool."
Fabio, who came off late on, was suffering from cramp so should also be fit for Sunday.
What team should United send out against Liverpool? Have your say.

Where did all that money go?
United will need to stay wide awake for this one no silly sending offs we need to use this game to show who we really are!

Maybe Scholes for Carrick but i just hope he plays Berbatov in this game as this game could be perfect for him.

Scholes only if his head is not to red, then Carrick

Acquiesce also played in Liverpool's reserves for fifteen minutes this week, which unfortunately still means Benitez's latest catastrophe is too far off fitness to play.

Our central defenders will certainly be up for this one, after last years showing where we gifted them the win. I can feel a Giggs coming on . . .tear'em apart Ryan! MO7 to score a brace!

Insert Brown or O'shakey for Neville, and Michelle a definite starter ahead of Scholesy for this one. And a gut feeling tells me that Rooney will not start, but come on as a sub if needed. If Owen is not up for this one he never will be!

Vidic wasn't too slow. He let that idiotic long ball bounce. All long balls are idiotic except those of VDS that Rooney locks on to, Fact!
And then Vidic went on to have a bad game and then a series of unfantastic games until here and now. So the hope is he lets Torres know of his presence early on and then goes on to score one.
Vote for David, anywhere else but manchester please (22/10/2009 at 15:57)

You could be right here, Vida has not been his old dominant self since Torres took him apart. This game could be remedial . . .WE WANT OUR VIDIC BACK!

Are you quite sure that your not that scruffy little waiter who works in the Katmandu Kebab house on Wilmslow Road?

Our scruffy little waiters who work in the Katmandu Kebab House on Wilmslow Road may speak very good English, but sadly, the cannot write well. Sadly, many of them never learned to write at all. So you'll have to think of me somewhere else.
