After a disappointing start to the campaign, when he was involved in just one of United's opening four Premier League games - the shock defeat at Burnley - Anderson is starting to find his form again.
The 21-year-old added another five appearances to his tally during September - and also managed to score his first goal for the Old Trafford outfit, over two years after his £17million arrival from FC Porto.
And the midfielder admits he is enjoying himself again.
"I feel happy here," said Anderson.
"Everybody has times that are not the best but I am at home here.
"I have been at Manchester United for three years. Everyone at the club is nice to me. It is like a family."
Anderson has suffered more than most in the summer upheaval that marked the departures of close friends Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.
Anderson friends
He is still in touch with the pair, but feels it is time for United to look to the future.
"Ronaldo is still a big friend of mine. Wherever he and Tevez are, nothing will change. We are great friends," said Anderson.
"They were both very important players for this club.
"However, this often happens in football and the club has to move on.
"We still have great players here like Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Nani. Now we also have Antonio Valencia.
"United must go forward and not get stuck in the past."
Sir Alex Ferguson will certainly be intending for United to go forward this weekend, when his side entertain Bolton looking for a win after that unexpected and controversial slip-up against Sunderland a fortnight ago.
Wayne Rooney and Jonny Evans will both be checked after pulling out of midweek international engagements, while Edwin van der Sar is expected to earn a recall after breaking his fingers during a pre-season game in Munich.
As for Anderson, he is just hoping for another opportunity to add to his scoring tally.
"I should score more goals but the way the team plays it can be very difficult to get inside the area," he said.
"Hopefully I will have more chances in the future and I can score lots more for Manchester United."

Anderson and Hargreaves in the middle !!
at his age should get more time on the park that's the only way this lad will get better.he has everything a midfielder needs but he needs games to make the next level,i'll never forget his first game at anfield and he didnt give gerrard a kick.
yeah you would be getting payed top dollar for playing tosh. great work if you get it

Know thats just plain wrong!!
Ando is going to be a legend, simple as that!!
The boy just needs games, games and more games, not rested here and there!! Play him, give a focal point role, when Hargreaves is back it is a midfield 3 of Fletch, Ando & Hargreaves

why don't you just stay on the dark-side of the MEN website rather than inflict your patheticly boring and predictable comments on the rest of us?
Gilly, can't agree with that - Fletcher and Carrick are our best, most consistent, midfielders.

Come on, you should know better.....it's the BITTER side
I bet he is not as happy as when hehim, Ronaldo and Nani were with those 'Toms' and he was getting his backside spanked.
Anderson starting to venture a bit more into the box and trying to get on the end of things now.I have said it many times his natural game is attacking but because he played so well against Gerrard and Fabregass in his first season we try turing him into a defensive midfeilder.
I belive our best midfield combinations who complement each other are
Anderson & Fletcher
Hargreaves & Carrick
Gibson & Scholes
Alias Smith @ 12.03, Ditto!!
Carrick our best midfeilder. LMFAO !!
neal 07, south stand lower I would agree with that.
I watched the Anderson video and was disappointed that he spoke exclusively in Portuguese. Isn't that a concern - he's lived in England for three years? If his English really is that poor even now, it must be holding him back and/or be an indication that he's not settled here.
I hope I'm wrong because he's a fine player with the potential to be exceptional.
