CHECK out these snaps of United's new home strip, which will be launched on July 1.

Designed to celebrate 100 years at Old Trafford, the new jersey is red with a shallow black `V' on the front.

The centenary of the stadium will be celebrated next February. The kit United wore at the time was white with a deep red `V' on the front of the shirt.

this photo looks completely fake as if Rooney's head has been stuck on. Looks like the current home kit with a black V painted on the chest to me!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont like it personally, but suppose you will be seeing all ages and sizes wearing it soon. At least its not like Liverpools nasty grey, or Newcastles tangerine offerings.

looks like the art department have been playing with old photos and drawing on the new features, bit of a cheek though a new kit at full price for just one season, It won't affect me as I don't buy them anyway just pay for my season ticket and show my support that way.
No doubt the Citeh fans will be on here in a bit saying how United rip off their own fans.
You don't have to buy the shirt to watch your team.

Why on earth is there a new kit with new sponsors name for just one season - i presume it's a BOGOF deal and everyone who buys this one gets the new version next July?!

No chance - come on reds - sort it out!!!
Not the best either is it - why don't they get that plain red is what is needed - it's like when they had the drawstring thing a few years back - what a load of ol' crap!

Celebrating the 100th year of OT with this kit is a nice touch. Not sure if I like the style but who cares it's not the kit I support it's the team.
I bet there would have been complaints if they hadn't done something

We don't want any Real cast-offs! The guy is a lump who cannot run past anyone (like Berba). We would need to change our whole strategy and require wingers to get to the by-line and cross into the box. Where would that leave Rooney? Also watching Tosic play over three games he is NOT Giggsy's replacement! If we are going for a lump upfront at least get someone mobile - Luca Toni or Ibrahimovic

It's a joke bringing out a new shirt when there will be a new sponsors name on the shirts the following season. So in effect, this shirt will have a 1 season shelf life. Rip off.

are we celebrating 100 years at OT, or mourning it?!?!
this has to be the butt-ugliest kit we have launched in recent years, and the standard hasn't exactly been set high... what a shame, oh well, I will just have to do without a new replica kit for a 5th year running. if united actually decide to design a good looking shirt for once, I will be more than happy to fork out the load of money the shirts cost here in South Africa, but they are probably in contention for worst shirt design of the year 5th year running!

I remember a few seasons back....the massives updated their kit( they've done that exactly the same number of times we have before they go on about us ripping the fans off)...anyway their update was a new sponsor and what appeared to be a bit of black insulation tape on the sleeves. Looks like we've done the same thing only on the front! Dont like it myself but then again i wont be buying it. As numerous people have said, its the team we support. Regardless if they have no fashion sense.
Anyway look fondly back on the blue and white pycodellic(?) offering? We hated that at the time and now its a classic

Not true, Alias. I liked the 2006/07 one: simple, tasteful and nice. A rare oasis in a desert of vulgarity.

Ps To be honest, I've not properly enjoyed any of our 11 PL titles (I'm not joking) due to the horrendous trophy, probably the ugliest, least tasteful and tacky monstrosity in the history of world sport. It's vile.
