The Reds have won two trophies since the Bulgarian striker became Old Trafford's club record buy after signing from Spurs for £30.75m in the final minutes of last August's transfer deadline day.
However, the 27-year-old has missed out on both triumphs - in the Fifa Club World Cup and the Carling Cup.
Berbatov flew to Japan with the Reds squad in December but was struck down by a virus while the European and English champions became Champions of the World.
United beat Japan's Gamba Osaka and Liga de Quito of Ecuador but Berbatov missed the jamboree.
And as the striker hadn't played a single minute of United's Carling Cup run this season, manager Sir Alex Ferguson stuck with his young XI at Wembley and the Reds beat Berbatov's old Spurs team-mates without his services.
Having suffered an ankle injury in United's defeat at Fulham and missing Bulgaria's World Cup qualifiers as a result, Berbatov is still very doubtful for Sunday's match at Old Trafford against Aston Villa.
So now the forward is itching to get his teeth into winning the final three pieces of silverware on offer with the FA Cup, Premier League and European Cup on the run-in agenda.
And he believes the `quin- tuple' is still a reality. "I am looking forward to this business end of the season," he said. "We know what is ahead of us and we know if we achieve that it will be something amazing for everybody.
"The obstacles will be many. We play a lot of very difficult teams and it is going to be difficult and a lot of pressure, but in the end a big club like United will always fight and try to win everything.
"In life everything is possible. If you believe and have faith in yourself then it can happen. We have to believe in our quality and our ability.
"The gaffer knows the right words to send us out with and the right way to prepare us for the games we have. We will stay strong to the end."
Disappointment
Berbatov hopes by the end of May he will then have mementoes to savour.
"Japan was a big disappointment for me," he added.
"But that is in the past and I don't look back. The Carling Cup - I won that last year with Tottenham, so that was OK for me!
"For the young players who played every game in that tournament it was their responsibility to go on and play at Wembley and show what they can do and they won it. My big congratulations go to those who played.
"From now on we have three major trophies to win and I have told the boys in the locker room that they have already won the Champions League and have become champions of England. The only one who didn't do that is me!
"So I am really looking forward to winning them and saying `guys, I am one of you'."
United will have to recover their composure after successive defeats against Liverpool and Fulham if they are to fend off the title challenge from their rivals.
Victory against Villa on Sunday will also set them up for the Champions League quarter- final first leg home tie with Porto next Tuesday.
"Everybody is talking about it being difficult for United after the defeats against Liverpool and Fulham," Berbatov said.
"But I can assure you we are a strong team and we support each other.
"We know how we have to react after a defeat like that. Sometimes after an international break like this it is difficult. When you come back you are tired and then you have a game immediately after that. But that is our job. There is no need to complain."

The guy is 28 now and he ain't gonna change his style. What he will do though is score some important goals in these coming weeks and I believe will be a much better player next season. Despite his relaxed nature, he has shown signs of nervousness and I believe next season with the pressure off he will do a lot better.
The lack of patience on here sometimes is amazing and is why United fans get a bad name. I remember some fans saying what a flop Andy Cole was when we bought him and how Ronaldo was a useless show pony - but both players showed signs of what they could become and that's what you have to look at. The recent player Berbatov reminds me of most though is Sheringham - who had an ok first season, but looked a bit over-awed at times after coming from Spurs. A lot of fans weren't impressed by him but he got better each season and become a good signing. Berbatov will do the same, it's just gonna take a bit longer than we all expected.

As for Berbatov, I do feel he should add a lot more to his game, and I am shocked every time he misses when he's right in front of goal. Now personally I couldn't care less if he never tackled as long as he creates goals and scores goals, but for all those who call him lazy: I saw an article in the Times on the day of the Liverpool game where it said he had the highest attempted tackle-per-minute ratio of the three strikers. Not bad for a lazy man eh?

Veron's problem was his price tag and the fact he came at a time when Beckham did all the things that he did at Lazio (passing, freekicks, corners) while Keane set the tempo (which he did at Lazio). In the league he wanted too much time on the ball but in Europe, he was one of our better players displaying some outrageous passing which I would urge people to watch if they get chance to see old matches again.
Of Fergie's poorest buys, he wouldn't get in my top 5 and at the time most fans I met were delighted that we were able to suddenly buy a guy of his pedigree. Funny, how hindsight makes everyone so wise and forgetful in memory.
Berby will get there in the end. He is getting used to our system and we are getting used to him. Cantona wasn't an instant hit despite what people will have you think and even an experience player like Sheringham took time to settle. Rather than celebrate having a player with real class though, it seems agenda gets in the way for some people. Maybe I just appreciate players like Berbatov after watching us muddle through with the likes of honest but limited players like Davenport, Brazil and Stapelton in the 1980s.

Lord Ruud I agree with most of your points but I don't go along with your comment about United fans having a bad name for criticizing our own players. Maybe we do criticize certain things but there's nothing wrong with that. The 'bad name' thing stems from rival supporters and the reason for it is because we are the most successful club in England, Europe and the world - so pay it no heed. On the subject - I don't go along with the contributors to these pages who attack others for daring to find fault with some things within our club. We have a taste for success and we want it ongoing. Perhaps the healthy criticism we have in some way contributes to the achievements. Should we just be quiet and accept failure season after season like other clubs, the scousers particularly.. and it's from this shower mostly that you hear the criticism of United fans. Ignore it, it's merely jealousy. We just want continued success and not to become also rans - leave that to our rivals.
