Ron's fully focused

CRISTIANO Ronaldo is fully focused on returning to fitness as soon as possible, according to his physiotherapist.

Antonio Gaspar, who was with the Portuguese winger in Los Angeles this month, has sought to quash suggestions that an aleged party lifestyle has got in the way of Ronaldo's rehabilitation.

The double footballer of the year is recovering from ankle surgery and will miss the start of United's defence of their Premier League and European crowns.

But despite suggestions that the 23-year-old's celebrity lifestyle was hindering his recovery, Gaspar said: "Cristiano works for five to six hours a day and we haven't had that many days off.

"The trip to LA was fantastic. We were able to work far from the pressure.

"He will be fit again by the end of September or in the first days of October."

By the way M.E.N there is a scoop at Real Madrid's AS. Apparently Ronaldo has sent a message to Calderon that he is meeting up with Fergie this coming week and he will be teeling him HE IS OFF!

I just thought we could pre-empt that one now...........we are now tired of this abuse from the RM mouth-piece and to add insult to injury our own press in the UK try to legitimise AS/MARCA by circulating the same rubbish.

I can't think why any newspaper would expect their readership to believe that Ronaldo would phone a tabloid newspaper in Spain to pass on a message to Calderon.

If the red tops are interested in a 'real' sting they should leave Formula 1 behind and go after this joker Calderon. Should be fairly easy - he probably doesn't even know what Ronnie sounds like. They could even reverse the charges.

Contrary to reports released by Ronaldo McDonalds physio and neuro surgeon, MARCA have today countered the claim made by the football genuius's surgeon that "Mr McDonalds brain has been put back into his cranium and we are waiting for him to snap out of his self induced delusional state"
A MARCA spokesman, Mr El Cid Calderoni, ex-mafia boss, issued the following counter statement this morning from his Tapas Bar in Torremelinos
"...Mr McDonald is currently touring LA with a Miss Paris Hilton. His brain is currently undergoing tests in an undisclosed location next to a wine cellar 'Vin de Neural'in Madrid. These spurious claims that his brain is back inside his napper are without substance and totally false"
Mr McDonalds mother is 54.
