The Old Trafford legend has slammed disloyal players who move clubs to rack up signing-on fees and `bling' obsessed superstars who sell their souls to gossip magazines.
Giggs, 34, admitted he would understand if fans are disgusted by the mega-wages some players earn.
Teammate Cristiano Ronaldo has spent all summer being courted by Real Madrid and Giggs said: "Many players want to make as much money as they can and change teams for ten grand. How is that going to make much difference to their lives?
"Foreign players always have their home somewhere else, so they are going to have their eyes on going back. But for the likes of me, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes, this is our home.
"If you get those players on their own they are good lads.
"So a lot of the blame has to go on their advisors and agents who make a lot of money out of these deals and don't have the interests of the player at heart."
Ronaldo has been given an extended break following Euro 2008 and ankle surgery. Giggs' own chance of move abroad never extended beyond an inquiry from AC Milan a decade ago.
He said: "Maybe one day I'll regret it but at the moment I feel very happy I've stayed here."
Giggs also admitted Sir Alex Ferguson's `hairdryer' treatment still leaves him quaking in his boots after two decades, although criticism from his mum Lynne can be worse.
No one has seen more of Fergie's outbursts than Giggs, who passed Bobby Charlton's club record of 758 appearances in the Champions League final.
"I think the last time was at Arsenal the season before last when Thierry Henry scored in the last minute," he said. "The manager went into one and I think some of the foreign lads thought `bloody hell, what's going on here? This is not what I signed for.' It was funny."
Of his mum he added: "She's watched me play more than anyone, so yes, she knows what she's on about."

Looks like the guys in the team are also fed up with Ronny...
I also can remember that Real Madrid went in for Giggsy in his heyday. United and Giggs told èm to get lost at the time.
Ryan an exemplary player who earns respect for his loyalty at United since breaking in the team in the early 90s.Still good enough for another season in my estimation.
Giggy is a real gem and I'm pleased he's spoken out....hopefully CR is listening
Yes Ryan. How much did you make from your testimonial? Couldn't make it up you muppet!
"Foreign players always have their homes somewhere else.."
Enlightening.
Scholes said something very similar last week.
"If other players fancy a move and a bit of money, then good luck to them but, if they're at a place like this, I don't think they realise how lucky they are to be playing here. It's always a step down after here. There are obviously big clubs in the world but, while certain people think it might be a progression to move somewhere else when you leave here, I don't think it is. I've had everything I need. I'm at Manchester United and I'm from Manchester, so what more do I need? I'm just one of the lucky ones who is at such a big club and has won a lot of trophies, but there are a lot of players throughout the league that won't win anything, yet will make big money out of it. Good luck to them."
If only SAF could have put together another team full of players like the class of 1992 we would not have had all the negative press to read this summer.
Alec Herd. The King on the Wing. Levenshulme (under the blue moon).
You're the MUPPET!
Giggs did giver the lions share to charity as it happens but did'nt did'nt nake a song and dance about like some other players.
When is the last time the bitters actually had a player give them enough service to warrant a testimonial...just curious?
