Dong's Olympic call

MANCHESTER United striker Dong Fangzhuo has been named in the China squad for next month's Olympic football tournament.

Dong is one of two English-based players selected by by acting coach Yin Tiesheng, who replaced Ratomir Dujkovic last week.

Charlton's Zheng Zhi is the other, the midfielder having been named captain of the host nation.

Manc Abroad, he's only just recovered from a knee ligament injury. He was out for 6 months.

Let's hope he gets a good runout at the Olympics and shows what a decent player he is.

T&C, having watched SOoo much football you should know the kind of player he is.

We would all love to see him rise to the highest levels but as with so many he has been found wanting even before being tested at the highest level!
