Wouldn't give Ronaldo a 10 - I know, I know..."if 41 goals doesn't deserve a 10 then what does..". Fair point, and I am in awe of him this season but the petulance, awarding himself free kicks etc. of late means he's a 9 for me. I'd dock him a point for the timing of his recent press alone.
Giving Giggs a 9 is loaded with loyalty. Peerless player that he is/was, he has put in way too many weak performances this season. He did earn a 9 last season but I think 7 at a push this year.
Rooney is a definite 9 for me for overall contribution to our game - skill, vision, countering, setting up goals, terrorising defences, tracking back and defending, and of course 18 goals for himself.
Scholes 7, Ballack 8 and Giggs 9 ?!?! ...... go figure!
Giggs a 9??????? for being the 12th man to the opposition. im sorry to say but i wouldnt give him above a 2.
nollaig Ronaldo is definetly worthy of a 10 not only because of his 41 goals but because he has every attribute an attacking player can and his head and shoulders the best player on both teams.

And for me Cech is now officially the most overrated player in the world!
He has made more mistakes this season then even James in his heyday at Liverpool!(Important ones too like putting the ball on Woodgates head!)
For me, he is the weak link for tommorrow.
Evra had big boots to fill from Heinze? Heinze had one good season and then played worse in his last season than the much maligned Silvestre ever has. Hmmm.

Why is giggs in the starting line up?! I'd pick Hargreaves, then Park and finally Giggs... All three can take that right wing position if required...
TMUF I hear ya on ronaldo but 10 means perfection. I'm probably being a bit mean - we don't ask for much at united do we! The common complaints about his game are really 'issues' as opposed to weaknesses so I guess you could argue the toss.
Hear ya on cech too - definitely not the fortress he used to be. He does look dodgey; against us the two goaline clearances whith him flat footed.
Hopefully ronaldo will bust his net with a header and flatten him in the process. I'll give him an 11 then!
I dont agree with Giggs rating , a 6 for him this season. And Tevez should be 9.
10 Ronaldo.He's the best player on the planet and therefore sets the benchmark.Most expert opinion is giving it to Chelsea.I think for us to win our young players have got to show a greater ruthlessess in front of goal.It's a great opportunity to hold their nerve their discipline and bang a few goals in.BELIEVE!
Rubbish ratings. Terry and Carvalho should be 9/10. Scholes should be 8/10. Lampard should be 7 or 8/10. Giggs should be 7/10. Rooney 9/10, Tevez 9/10. Acoording to these ratings, Chelsea have better attacking players than us.
