The party, led by manager Sir Alex Ferguson, flew out of Manchester Airport at lunchtime on a private charter.
Ferguson has already admitted he will have a tough job, not just picking a team but choosing his seven substitutes.
It means six players will be left watching the game from the stands at the Luzhniki Stadium.
Paul Scholes has been promised a place in the starting line-up after missing the European Cup victory in 1999 through suspension.
It might also be a memorable night for Ryan Giggs as he is poised to overtake Sir Bobby Charlton's club record of 758 appearances.
Manchester United (from): Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Heaton, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Brown, Neville, O'Shea, Silvestre, Pique, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Hargreaves, Anderson, Fletcher, Park, Nani, Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Saha, Welbeck.
Who would you pick? Have your say.

VdS; Brown, Rio, Vidic, Evra; Hargreaves, Carrick, Scholes; Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez.
I guess the only doubt is whether it will be Hargreaves or Park but I think SAF will go with those three since Chelski play such a tight midfield. For the bench:
KitKat, O'Shea, Giggs, Park, Nani, Anderson, Saha. The unlucky ones are Fletcher, Silvestre and Pique. I guess some people might disagree with Saha on the bench but he's a proven striker so I'd be very surprised if he wasn't there. It wouldn't shock me if Park or Nani didn't make the 18 to make way for another defender. However since Hargreaves can fill in at RB I would doubt it. I really hope Anderson plays some role. He did go off the boil of late but he is one player that can change the tempo of the game when he comes on off the bench.

The team is pretty clear with the last place between Tevez, Giggs, Park or Nani. Hopefully the Apache.

Subs - Kuszczak, O'Shea, Park, Giggs, Anderson, Nani, Saha,
In the stands - Heaton (obvious), Neville (not enough match time), Silvestre(prefered JOS for versatility), Pique (not featured enough), Fletcher(couldnt find space for him), Welbeck (too young/ not enough experience).

EVDS
Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra
Ronaldo Carrick Scholes Giggs
Tevez Rooney
Bench:
Thomasz, Silvestre, Hargreaves, Anderson, Nani, Fletcher, Saha.
I don't think Park will start this match, and he is not that kind of player who can come off the bench and make a huge difference.
I am not sure if Fletcher will be replaced by John O'Shea though.

Heaton, Neville, Silvestre, Pique, Park, Saha and Welbeck.
But I think SAF will consider avoiding dissapointment for last season's newcomers, and might again opt for pleasing the Far East market in keeping or even picking Park; he knows there are enough O'Shea's and Fletcher's who will say nothing, if left out.

They had long enough to get it ready. It's just not acceptable.
It's a ridiculous place to hold a CL Final anyway.
With regards to the team, well, the manager and Carlos know best, so we'll have to trust their judgement.
Chelsea have taken a full squad aswell, but how fit are Drogba and Terry is the question.

I think he's gotta go with this line up?? maybe not in the exact positions, and surely at least a bench role for Anderson as he's been surreal.
Noticed the pitch is absolute shiiiite so we'll have to deal with an even higher qouta of long balls up to Drogmuck, but Vida and Rio should cope!!
Come on the Samba Reds.

Hargreaves just behind Ronaldo Carrick Sholes and Rooney wide left.
Tevez up front.
Anderson and Fletcher on the bench along with KitKat.
Saha is the striker back up.
Giggs is a dead cert leaving Nani and Sylvestre as the balance. Sly and OH are the best full back replacements and we need to be prepared to bring someone of the bench like Saha or Nani who can help get us a goal if we are behind late in the game. I don't see how he can not start Rooney and Tevez but he seems to prefer Giggs in the big games leaving Tevez on the bench.

............VDS
Brown, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra
...........Carrick...........
....Hargreaves.....Scholes...
Ronaldo................Rooney
............Tevez............
Only possibility is Carrick and Scholes swaping places depending on whether Carrick will be marking Ballack or Essien... Ronaldo plays the best on the wing and ergo will be there. Rooney has played brilliantly this season on the left. And this position is somehwere between his left wing and striker role. tevez out front cos of his imaculate presence with his back to goal.
Perhaps nani, Anderson, giggsy or Park might may guest appearences to increase their counter ability. Along with them. O'shea and Saha on the bench... Sadly Fletch will have to watch from the stands.
